摘要: Systems and methods for performing a mobile range query are provided. A system can include a first computer readable medium configured to iteratively transmit a mobile range query, as well as a second computer readable medium configured to: receive a mobile range query; compute a range query result; build two min-heaps that contain in-border interest points and out-border intersect points respectively; construct an initial candidate safe region by popping top elements in the two min-heaps while they are not empty; computing the intersections of the domain region of the top elements and the candidate safe region and redefining the candidate safe region using the intersections; and return the mobile range query results to the first medium.

A method for assisting autonomous vehicles can include providing an autonomous vehicle having sensory inputs and providing a remote control center having two-way communication with the autonomous vehicle. The autonomous vehicle can send its sensory input information to the control center and the control center can send control information to the autonomous vehicle.

摘要: Systems and techniques are described to enable the dynamic selection of a transit route through the stop zones of a transit line. Techniques are disclosed for receiving a current location of a transit vehicle on a transit line and determining a transit route through one or more of the vehicle's remaining stop zones by choosing an optimized combination of stop options and route segment options for that specific transit vehicle. Techniques may be performed in some cases by accessing a real-time traffic information service to obtain one or more traffic condition factors on a route segment, determining a dynamic route segment option weight, calculating a dynamic cost function with respect to the weights, and determining an optimized set of the route segments with respect to the cost functions.
