    摘要: A chain tensioner includes a housing having a closed bottom. A rod is axially movably inserted in the housing for pressing a chain. A wear ring is mounted to the outer periphery of the rod and is biased by a return spring mounted in the housing in a direction away from the bottom of the housing. A nut member is mounted between the wear ring and the bottom of the housing so as to be coaxial with the housing and axially movable relative to the housing. A ring-shaped spring member is provided between the nut member and the bottom of the housing to support the nut member. A screw rod is provided between the rod and the bottom of the housing and in threaded engagement with the nut member. A spring is provided between the screw rod and the bottom of the housing to bias the screw rod in a direction away from the bottom of the housing. The screw rod has an end surface that is in abutment with the rod.

    摘要: A chain tensioner is provided which can prevent separation of the plunger. In a cylinder chamber 12 of the housing 11, a plunger 13 and a spring 15 that biases the plunger 13 outwardly are mounted. The housing 11 is provided with an oil supply passage 17 communicating with a pressure chamber 16 formed in the cylinder chamber behind the plunger 13. An axially elongated guide recess 31 is formed in the outer periphery of the plunger 13. The housing 11 is provided with a stopper pin 33 near the open end of the cylinder chamber. By abutting the rear end wall 31b of the guide recess 31, the stopper pin 33 prevents separation of the plunger 13 from the housing.

    摘要: A chain tensioner for use in a chain system for driving a vehicle engine, particularly a two-wheeled vehicle engine, includes a housing and a plunger slidably mounted in the cylinder chamber formed in the housing. The plunger is biased outwardly by a return spring mounted in a pressure chamber defined in the cylinder chamber by the plunger. A check valve is provided at the closed end of the cylinder chamber to prevent backflow of hydraulic oil in the pressure chamber. A relief valve is provided in the plunger. The relief valve has a relief pressure above which the relief valve opens, thereby discharging hydraulic oil in the pressure chamber. An oil leakage clearance is defined between the inner wall of the cylinder chamber and the radially outer surface of the plunger through which hydraulic oil in the pressure chamber can leak out. The relief pressure and the radial dimension of the oil leakage clearance are determined such that the tension in the chain is kept at such a level that vibrations of the chain are minimum at any temperature of hydraulic oil and at any revolving speed of the engine.

Also, a display apparatus includes: a filter unit used in a state of being laid over an image display unit for displaying image information in a first division and a second division; and a filter frame portion disposed integrally around a periphery of the filter unit; wherein the filter unit has a first wave plate in a region corresponding to the first division of the image display unit for rotating polarization direction of the image information from the first division to a direction different from polarization direction of the image information from the second division; and the filter frame portion has an alignment mark formed therein by a second wave plate for rotating polarization direction.

    摘要: A thermosensitive plate material for lithographic plate formation according to the present invention includes a substrate (1) and a thermosensitive layer (2) formed thereon. The thermosensitive layer (2) includes an organic polymer (4) containing lipophilic portion forming particles (3). In the thermosensitive layer (2), a surface portion (21) having a thickness of 0.1 μm or more does not contain the lipophilic portion forming particles (3) but contains a metal oxide (5). The surface portion (21) includes a hydrophilic organic polymer (41), which has been cured with the metal oxide (5). A portion (22) of the thermosensitive layer (2) on the substrate side contains the lipophilic portion forming particles (3). The organic polymer (42) constituting the base portion (22) need not be the hydrophilic organic polymer.

    摘要: The present invention provides a rolling bearing in which an oxide layer of an iron/chromium oxide series is formed at a thickness of from 1 to 1000 nm to at least one of raceway surfaces of bearing rings or rolling contact surfaces of rolling elements and a manufacturing method thereof. The oxide layer can inhibit hydrogen formed by decomposition of water incorporated in the lubricants from intruding into the matrix of the bearing members, thereby preventing early peeling for the raceway surfaces of the bearing rings or the rolling contact surfaces of the rolling elements and, thus, greatly improving the rolling life. The oxide layer can be formed simply by merely tempering the bearing member and then applying a re-heating treatment in air at a temperature lower than the tempering temperature.
