    摘要: A combustible rocket is constructed with a laminate which comprises high tensile strength metal foils, easily combustible metal foils, and easily combustible adhesive layers. The rocket has sufficient mechanical strength and its shell can be gasified or disintegrated into finely divided pieces after the propellant of the rocket has burnt out at high altitudes. This rocket can be launched safely even in the vicinity of population centers without risk of injury to living things.

    摘要: A hinge device for use in a foldable device is provided which allows the cover member to be pivoted clockwise and counterclockwise so that the cover member can be used in a variety of ways and also has an excellent functionality. A cellphone using such a hinge device is also provided. A hinge device connecting a body member 13 and a cover member 12 comprises: open-close hinge units 3, 4 to open and close the cover member 12 and to hold the open cover member 12 at a first open position where a cellphone operation can be performed; and a pivotal hinge unit 4 secured to the body member 13 and activated when the cover member 12 is opened beyond the first open position, the pivotal hinge unit 4 being adapted to pivot the cover member 12 clockwise or counterclockwise and to hold the cover member 12 at a pivotal position 90 or 180 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise from the body member.

    摘要: A thermosensitive plate material for lithographic plate formation according to the present invention includes a substrate (1) and a thermosensitive layer (2) formed thereon. The thermosensitive layer (2) includes an organic polymer (4) containing lipophilic portion forming particles (3). In the thermosensitive layer (2), a surface portion (21) having a thickness of 0.1 μm or more does not contain the lipophilic portion forming particles (3) but contains a metal oxide (5). The surface portion (21) includes a hydrophilic organic polymer (41), which has been cured with the metal oxide (5). A portion (22) of the thermosensitive layer (2) on the substrate side contains the lipophilic portion forming particles (3). The organic polymer (42) constituting the base portion (22) need not be the hydrophilic organic polymer.

    摘要: A catalyst for the bisalkoxycarbonylation of olefins comprising a noble metal compound and a phosphine chalcogenide of the following formula (1): ##STR1## wherein each of R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 is, independently, an alkyl group or an aryl group each of which may have a substituent, and A is a Group 16 element of the Periodic Table; and R.sup.1, R.sup.2 or R.sup.3 may be combined, directly or through a bridging group, with one another where the groups to be combined may be attached either to an identical phosphorus atom or to different phosphorus atoms. Element A includes oxygen, sulfur and selenium atoms. The noble metal compound includes palladium(II) halides and other palladium compounds. The catalyst may further include a copper (I) halide or other copper compound as a co-catalyst. The use of this catalyst can provide the bisalkoxycarbonylation of olefins with efficiency.
