    摘要: A method performs inverse tone mapping of an image in a decoder. For each block of each color channel of the image a scaling factor is determined by adding a predicted scaling factor for the current block to a difference between the predicted scaling factor and the scaling factor of an adjacent block. An offset value for the current block is determined by adding a predicted offset for the current block to a difference between the predicted offset value and the offset value of the adjacent block. The scaling factor and the offset value are applied to pixel intensity values of the current block to produce a mapped block. The inverse tone mapping can also be applied to blocks of different sizes.

    摘要: A pressure release mechanism has a securing end, a detaching end and an activation piston. An inner cylinder and an outer cylinder in communication with the inner cylinder are defined in the securing end. A concave annular recess is defined in the inner periphery of the outer cylinder. A spring is compressed in the inner cylinder. The activation piston has a first extension and a second extension respectively extending from opposite ends and an annular groove defined to receive therein an O-ring. Multiple holes ate radially defined in the detaching end to receive balls. A cylinder in communication with the outer cylinder of the securing end is defined in the detaching end, and an axial hole is defined in the detaching end to communicate with the cylinder and the external environment. When the activation piston is movably received in the detaching end cylinder and the securing end outer and inner cylinders, the balls in the holes are held in the concave annular recess. When the balls are released from the annular recess due to the movement of the first extension, the securing end is detached from the detaching end.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for video coding having intra-slice deblocking, intra-slice adaptive loop filter, and intra-slice adaptive offset are disclosed. In a video coding system, a picture is often divided into slices and each slice is independently processed so that errors or missing data from one slice cannot propagate to any other slice within the picture. In the recent high efficiency video coding (HEVC) development, deblock filtering (DF), adaptive loop filter (ALF) and adaptive offset (AO) may be applied to reconstructed slices. When the processing is applied across slice boundaries, it may rely on pixels outside the current slice and cause dependency of the current slice on other slice(s). Consequently, the DF/ALF/AO processing on a reconstructed slice may have to wait until the reconstructed slices that it is dependent from complete the DF/ALF/AO processing. To overcome the slice boundary issue, intra-slice DF/ALF/AO is developed that does not rely on any pixel outside the currently slice. An optional slice boundary filter may be applied to slice boundaries after all slices are processed by the intra-slice DF/ALF/AO.

The method includes the following steps: sensing a plurality of foot pressure signals of a user by using a sensor array, the foot pressure signals comprising at least a rearfoot pressure signal and at least a forefoot pressure signal; calculating a temporal sequence of a gait cycle of the user according to the foot pressure signals; calculating a foot reaction force of the user according to the foot pressure signals and a calibration parameter; and calculating a mechanical state of the lower limb joints of the user according to the temporal sequence of the gait cycle and the foot reaction force.

In one embodiment according to the present invention, the method and apparatus for encoding or decoding Intra prediction mode for 4×4 prediction unit (PU) use 19 Intra mode candidates to have full directional coverage or 35 Intra mode candidates as used by 8×8, 16×16 and 32×32 PUs. In another embodiment of the present invention, three MPMs are used to code the Intra modes. Various methods to derive the three MPMs based on the Intra modes of neighboring blocks are disclosed. In yet another embodiment of the present invention, the coding method for the remaining modes comprises fixed length coding. In addition, variable length coding for the remaining modes are also disclosed.
