Abstract:
A method for automatic mismatch correction is presented. The method includes identifying a feature of interest in a reference image volume and a target image volume. Furthermore, the method includes computing a cost matrix based on one or more pairs of image slices in the reference image volume and the target image volume. The method also includes identifying one or more longest common matching regions in the reference image volume and the target image volume based on the computed cost matrix. In addition, the method includes aligning the reference image volume and the target image volume based on the identified one or more longest common matching regions. A non-transitory computer readable medium including one or more tangible media, where the one or more tangible media include code adapted to perform the method for automatic mismatch correction is also presented. Systems and non-transitory computer readable medium configured to perform the method for automatic mismatch correction of image volumes are also presented.

Systems and methods for fault handling are presented. In one embodiment, a fault handling method includes: performing an information collection process, wherein the information collection process includes collecting information regarding guest operating system files of a virtual machine; performing a selective replication region identification process, wherein the selective replication region identification process includes identifying regions associated with a selective amount of the guest operating system files; and performing a replication process based upon result of the replication region identification process. In one embodiment, the selective replication region identification process includes identifying regions associated with files of interest. The selective replication region identification process can include identifying regions associated with temporary files. The information regarding files can include a list of regions used by the files after loopback mounting of a virtual disk file, a list of regions which have been modified on the virtual disk file and regions associated with metadata that has changed.

A method for automating the manifold design process based on a hydraulic circuit cavity geometry and manifold design parameters successively merges stored design patterns, including orientations and connectivity data of each cavity into an evolving manifold topology. Cross-drill connections are added to the topology. A complete 3-D manifold model is then exported through a CAD program.
Abstract:
Techniques for specifying recipients in an electronic email (email) system are presented. A sender of an email includes a rule in a sender field of the email, rather than a recipient address, an alias address book identifier, or a distribution list identifier. The rule is evaluated to dynamically identify multiple recipient email addresses for the email. The multiple recipient email addresses then replace the rule included within the sender field and the email is sent over a network to recipients associated with the multiple recipient email addresses.

An imaging system includes a microscope to generate magnified images of regions of interest of a tissue sample, a camera to capture and store the magnified images, and a controller. The controller is configured to, for each magnification level in a sequence of increasing magnification levels, image one or more regions of interest of the tissue sample at the current magnification level. For each region of interest, data is generated defining one or more refined regions of interest based on the magnified image of the region of interest of the tissue sample at the current magnification level. Each refined region of interest corresponds to a proper subset of the tissue sample, and the refined regions of interest of the tissue sample provide the regions of interest to be imaged at a next magnification level from the sequence of increasing magnification levels.
Abstract:
Storage systems and methods are presented. A method can include: accessing virtual machine image information; performing an examination process on the virtual machine image information to determine characteristics of the virtual machine image information including temporary attributes of the virtual machine image information; performing an exclusion block identification process based upon results of the examination process to identify exclusion blocks, wherein exclusion blocks are identified for exclusion from a subsequent operation; and forwarding an indication of the exclusion blocks to the subsequent operation. In one embodiment the method is performed within a File Server.
