To provide a control apparatus for a vehicle capable of performing the biasing, releasing, locking, and unlocking of an engine in the sequential action. A flat key is inserted in an opening portion of a casing constituting a controller. When the key is judged to be correct with respect to the vehicle, a current is allowed to flow in a solenoid, a solenoid plunger is actuated. As a result, a rachet plate is displaced, so that a first detector faces to a second detector. Thus, when an engine start switch is turned ON, a specified current is allowed to flow in a CPU of a controller. When the key is ejected from the casing, the engine is released, and the solenoid is turned OFF. At this time, by the turning of an operating lever, the first detector is separated from the second detector. By further turning of the operating lever a locked state of the handle occurs.

A disk playback apparatus with a centering mechanism for positioning a small or a large disk which comprises a support frame, a clamper arm swingably mounted on a rear portion of the support frame, and a centering mechanism for guiding large and a small diameter disks from a front side of the playback apparatus to a position between the support frame and the clamper arm when the disk is inserted into the playback apparatus. The centering mechanism has a pair of centering arms for contacting with a circumferential edge of the disk for positioning the disk in place, a centering lever provided in the clamper arm and connected to the pair of centering arms for simultaneously opening/closing the pair of centering arms, and lock arms each rotatably mounted on the associated centering arm for locking the centering arm independently, the lock arms allowing the pair of centering arms to be swingable when both the lock arms are released. This playback apparatus can center both the small and large size disks at a clamp position.

In order to accomplish this electrode structure, a first electrode which is insulated from the first semiconductor layer with an insulation film, is formed on an area extending from a part of the second semiconductor layer to an exposed surface of the insulation substrate which is not covered with the first semiconductor layer. A second electrode, which is separate from the second semiconductor layer, is formed on a part of the first semiconductor layer which is not covered with the second semiconductor layer. Using this construction, a solar battery cell can be realized. Additionally, the first electrode has a connection region on the exposed surface of the insulation substrate in order to provide connection with an external terminal. This enables welding or bonding with an external terminal on this particular connection region.

Therefore, water and an aqueous solvent can be simultaneously applied onto the waterless presensitized lithographic printing plate in this developing section so that a reduced size and shortened processing time can be achieved.

An unmanned vehicle is so controlled as to travel along a guide line in response to command signals transmitted from a fixed host computer. The vehicle includes a driving motor, a steering motor, a driving motor chopper, a steering motor chopper, a speed detector, an offset (misalignment away from the guide line) detector, a main CPU, etc. Since detected offset values are directly feedbacked to the main CPU through a steering control interface and the steering motor chopper is directly controlled by the main CPU through the steering interface, it is possible to eliminate other CPUs conventionally provided for turning on or off both the choppers, separately. Further, since the duty ratio of the steering motor chopper is controlled by taking into account various factors such as offset values, offset increment values, vehicle speeds, steering correcting directions, etc., it is possible to stably correct vehicle steering misalignment at high response speed even when the vehicle is travelling at high speed along the guide line.

An unmanned vehicle is so controlled as to travel along a guide line in response to command signals transmitted from a fixed host computer. The steering misalignment (offset) of the vehicle is corrected by a steering DC motor driven by an AC current, the duty ratio of which is adjusted by a steering motor chopper circuit. Since dead zones within which the misalignment is no longer corrected and duty ratio calculating expression on which chopper duty ratio is determined according to a detected offset are both classified by vehicle speed, it is possible to stably correct vehicle steering misalignment at high response speed even when the vehicle is travelling at high speed along the guide line. Further, when the dead zone and the calculating expression are both classified by discriminating an initial offset from the succeeding offset, it is possible to not only to prevent the vehicle from travelling zigzag along the guide line, but also to reduce the number of rush currents generated in the chopper circuit.
