    摘要: The present invention relates to a bidirectionally operating warfare lock mechanism (C) that prevents external interference (opening/unlocking) to hatches in military vehicles (A) during combat. The present invention particularly relates to a bidirectionally operating warfare lock mechanism (C) comprising a lock operating mechanism (100) that is connected to the vehicle (A) and that allows for opening and locking the hatch (B) when the user moves the lock lever (110) to P1 (161) and P2 (162) receptacles, and further comprising a lock bolt mechanism (200) that can be easily mounted by being rotated 180° around its axis without making any changes in the design, thereby allowing for being used in always-open or always-closed (locked) configurations according to the desired scenario.

    摘要: Embodiments of systems and methods for operating a power tailgate system include overload checking a tailgate latched by a latch that is in a full-latching position, connected with a latch actuator, and activated by the latch actuator for non-revertible movement in a latching direction. Overload checking the tailgate includes operating the latch actuator to over-stroke the latch, identifying an over-stroking load on the latch actuator, and based on the over-stroking load on the latch actuator, determining whether the tailgate is overloaded or not overloaded. Over-stroking the latch includes moving the latch in the latching direction from the full-latching position to an over-stroking position, and the over-stroking load on the latch actuator is associated with its operation to over-stroke the latch.

    摘要: A service latch assembly for a vehicle is disclosed. The latch assembly includes a striker member and a latch mechanism configured to selectively engage and release the strike member. The latch mechanism includes a frame plate defining a guideway configured to receive the striker member, a striker guard inserted into the guideway, a latch member pivotally connected to the frame plate, a stop tab extending from a closed end of the guideway, a stop bumper inserted onto the stop tab, and an over-mold fitted over the latch member. The over-mold includes a pivot limiter bumper configured to cooperate with the stop bumper to limit the pivot of the latch member in an open position and a striker retention feature nested onto an edge retention surface of a first lever arm of the latch member.
