Abstract: The present invention relates to a device and method for displaying the lifecycle of a surge protection device, and more particularly to a device and method for displaying the lifecycle of a surge protection device, which detects an increase in leakage current according to a deterioration in performance of the surge protection device in order to provide notice of a replacement time for the surge protection device. According to the present invention, it is possible to for a user to provide notice of a replacement time by displaying the lifecycle of a surge protection device (SPD) to the outside. Additionally, as another effect of the present invention, it is possible to confirm an amount of leakage current flowing into the ground of the SPD and whether the SPD is properly installed on a ground line by using a current and ground state detecting sensor.

Abstract: An energy recovery circuit for a plasma display panel (PDP) according to the present invention includes an energy recovery unit recovering and storing energy from the PDP; and a switching stabilizing unit electrically connected to the energy recovery unit to stabilize switching of a sustain discharge pulse applied to the PDP. The switching stabilization unit may include one diode, two switches and one capacitor for energy recovery, or include two switches and an external input voltage source that is an external voltage supply. According to the present invention, the difference of voltages applied to both drain and source terminals of a switch (SW2) for applying a sustain discharge voltage (Vsus) is minimized at the time when the switch (SW2) is switched, so that switching can be stabilized by preventing hard switching from being generated when the sustain discharge voltage is applied to a panel. Further, switching and electro-magnetic interference (EMI) noises of the circuit, generated due to the hard switching can be decreased, and therefore, driving reliability of the circuit can be improved.

Abstract: A burner for a glass top stove includes a heating element, and a reflector. The reflector is shaped to reflect heat and light emitted down and to the sides of the heater back up to the glass top of the burner. The reflector is shaped to form multiple images of the heater on the glass plate. This ensures uniform heating of the glass plate. It also causes a user to believe that there are more heaters than are actually mounted on the burner.

Abstract: Disclosed are a composite composition comprising carbon nanotubes and a transparent conductive film using the composite composition. The composite composition comprises a solution of an ion conductive polymeric binder in a solvent and carbon nanotubes dispersed in the solution. The transparent conductive film is formed by coating a dispersion of carbon nanotubes in an ion conductive polymeric binder on a base film to allow the transparent conductive film to be electrically conductive as a whole. The composite composition can be used to form a transparent conductive film with excellent bending properties as well as high electrical conductivity and high transparency. Therefore, the composite composition can be applied to transparent electrodes for use in foldable flat panel displays.
