A double-side scanning mechanism for capturing images of a paper having two pages includes a second transparent element disposed corresponding to an outer side of a first transparent element and parallel to the first transparent element. A paper conveying device conveys a paper to pass between the first and the second transparent elements with a first page facing the first transparent element. The paper is flipped and passes over the outer side of the second transparent element with a second page facing the second transparent element. An image scanning module is disposed corresponding to an inner side of the first transparent element, for capturing the image of the first page when the paper passes between the first and the second transparent elements, and capturing the image of the second page when the paper passes over an outer side of the second transparent element.

A media conveying mechanism located in a media data recorder for conveying media mainly includes a driving motor to provide driving power needed. A first clutch to control the operation of a pickup roller. A second clutch to control rotation direction of an intermediate roller, a sensor to detect the conveying process of the media and control the operation of the second clutch. By deploying the two clutches, conveying quantity of the media in a unit time period can be effectively improved.

A radar wave sensing apparatus including a rotation element, a nanosecond pulse near-field sensor and a control unit is provided. The nanosecond pulse near-field sensor emits an incident radar wave and receives a reflection radar wave of the incident radar wave hitting on a surface of the rotation element to obtain a repetition frequency variation of the reflection radar wave corresponding to the incident radar wave. The control unit calculates a vibration of the rotation element according to the repetition frequency variation.

An intestinal peristalsis detecting device comprises a radio frequency (RF) signal generator, an antenna, and a mixer. After the RF signal generator sends a pulse signal, the antenna receives the pulse signal and emits a pulse electromagnetic wave to an organism. Thereafter, the antenna receives a response pulse electromagnetic wave reflected from the organism to generate a response pulse signal. The mixer couples with the RF signal generator and the antenna to mix the pulse signal and the response pulse signal.

The method of flipping paper includes: first, feeding a sheet of paper into a first paper conveying path; next, depressing the paper into a second paper conveying path while the paper is leaving the first paper conveying path; and reentering the paper from the second paper conveying path into the first paper conveying path upside down.

A document feeder for multifunction printers or scanners offers high reliability and speedy paper-picking, -separating and -feeding functions. It comprises a picking module, a separating module and a feeding module. Since the three modules take turns to deliver paper, the paper can be picked at a lower speed, separated at a medium speed and then fed at a high speed. In addition, the separating module comprises a clutch. When the paper was fed by the feeding module, the clutch is activated to provide an interval between papers and to prevent papers from plucking.
