    Abstract: An electrical plug connector includes an insulated housing received in a metallic shell, first and second terminal modules respectively above and below the insulated housing, and abutting plates (EMI (Electro-Magnetic Interference) plates). Each abutting plate (EMI plate) is between the metallic shell and the insulated housing. Each abutting plate (EMI plate) includes a main body and elastic arms outwardly extending from the main body. Each elastic arm includes a terminal contact portion and a shell contact portion. The terminal contact portion is extending toward a corresponding recessed hole of the insulated housing and contacts one or more first ground terminal of the first terminal module or one or more second ground terminal of the second terminal module. The shell contact portion contacts an inner surface of the metallic shell. Therefore, the high frequency features of the connector can be optimized effectively and resonant problems of the connector can be improved.

    Abstract: An electrical plug connector includes an insulated housing, a metallic shell, two terminal sets, and a circuit board. The insulated housing includes a front portion and a rear portion. The front portion extends forwardly from the rear portion, and an inside of the front portion forms a receiving cavity. The metallic shell covers the insulated housing. Each terminal set is composed with a plurality of terminals. Each terminal includes a contact portion, a retaining portion, and a soldering portion. The retaining portion is retained in the insulated housing. The soldering portion extends backwardly from the retaining portion. The soldering portions are arranged as an upper row and a lower row in symmetry, and the soldering portion is of the spring arm type. The circuit board is inserted between the upper row and the lower row of the soldering portions. The upper row and the lower row of the soldering portions clip elastically the circuit board.

    Abstract: An electrical plug connector includes a metallic shell, an insulated housing, and a grounding sheet. The insulated housing is received in a receiving cavity of the metallic shell and includes a mating room and side assembling cavities. The side assembling cavities are defined at two sides of the insulated housing and communicate with the mating room. The grounding sheet is at the insulated housing and in contact with the metallic shell. The grounding sheet includes a main body in the insulated housing, side arms extended toward the side assembling cavities from two sides of the main body, hook portions extended toward the mating room from the fronts of the side arms, and mounting legs extended from the rears of the side arms and protruded from the side assembling cavities.

    Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes an insulated housing, upper-row receptacle terminals, and lower-row receptacle terminals. The insulated housing includes a base portion and a tongue portion extended from one side of the base portion. The tongue portion has an upper surface, a lower surface, and a front lateral surface. The lower-row receptacle terminals correspond to the upper-row receptacle terminals and include signal terminals which include high speed transmitting terminals. Each of the high speed transmitting terminals includes a bending portion, an extension portion, and a cutout portion. The bending portion is extended upward from the front end of the flat contact portion and inserted into the tongue portion, the extension portion is extended forward from the top of the bending portion toward the front lateral surface, and the cutout portion is defined at the extension portion and near to the bending portion.

    Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes a receptacle shell, an insulation housing bracket, a receptacle grounding contact, and a grounding member. The insulation housing bracket is disposed inside the receptacle shell. The receptacle grounding contact is held inside the housing base. The grounding member is disposed on a first side of the insulation housing bracket and located between the insulation housing bracket and the receptacle shell. A connecting structure is selectively disposed on the grounding member or on the receptacle grounding contact. The connecting structure penetrates through the insulation housing bracket and mechanically or physically connects the grounding member and the receptacle grounding contact such that the grounding member is electrically connected to the receptacle grounding contact.
