Abstract: A communication system may include a base station (BS), user equipment (UE), and a set of reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS's). The RIS's, the UE, and the BS may communicate using a control RAT and a data RAT. The BS may transmit downlink (DL) signals to the UE device via reflection off a DL RIS. The UE device may transmit uplink (UL) signals to the BS via reflection off a UL RIS. This may optimize wireless performance in situations where reflecting the UL and DL signals off the same RIS would limit performance under the current data RAT channel conditions. The BS and the UE device may use channel measurements of the control RAT at the RIS's to select the UL RIS and the DL RIS. This may significantly reduce overhead required to identify the UL and DL RIS's relative to scenarios where exhaustive beam training is used.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for Wake up signal monitoring in a radio resource control connected (RRC) mode. An example method can include a base station receiving an indication from a user equipment (UE) of a capability for wake-up signal (WUS) monitoring in a radio resource control (RRC) connected mode while in a sleep state. The base station can configure the UE with a first frequency domain resource for WUS monitoring in the RRC connected mode while in the sleep state. The base station can transmit a WUS using the first frequency domain resource and a first time domain resource, wherein a main radio of the UE is configured to transmit and receive based on the WUS. The base station can transmit a first downlink (DL) transmission.

A user equipment (UE) receives signals from a plurality of transmission and reception points (TRPs). The UE determines, based on the signals, multiple TRP (multi-TRP) coherent joint transmission (CJT) channel state information (CSI) report information for a codebook based on a spatial basis selection matrix, a combination coefficient matrix, and a frequency basis selection matrix. Abstract: Techniques for a wireless device to share a Channel Occupancy Time (COT) in a sidelink (SL) channel are disclosed. The techniques include a method for sharing a Channel Occupancy Time (COT) in a sidelink (SL) channel that includes performing a Clear Channel Assessment (CCA) by a first wireless device to initialize the COT. The first wireless device determines that a portion of the COT may be shared, and transmits to one or more qualifying wireless devices, first Sidelink Control Information (SCI). The first SCI may include a destination identification (ID), an offset, and a SL duration. The destination ID indicates one or more qualifying wireless devices that may share the COT, and the SL duration defines a duration of time available for the one or more qualifying wireless devices to share the COT. The first wireless device may resume transmission in the COT.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods are provided for a user equipment (UE) to control sidelink power allocation on multiple carriers. The UE determines, from among a plurality of physical sidelink feedback channels (PSFCHs) scheduled for simultaneous transmission on the multiple carriers, prioritized PSFCHs to simultaneously transmit across the multiple carriers based at least in part on a capability of the UE for a maximum number of simultaneous PSFCH transmissions per carrier of the multiple carriers and a total transmission power PCMAX of the UE, where j is an index of a jth-carrier of the multiple carriers. The UE determines allocated transmission power for the prioritized PSFCHs. Then, the UE simultaneously transmits the prioritized PSFCHs on the multiple carriers according to the allocated transmission power.
