Abstract: Technology for user equipment (UE) operable for physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) repetition communication is disclosed. The UE can comprise one or more processors configured to: decode information from a first transmission from a PDSCH and information from one or more repeated transmissions from the PDSCH; decode a repetition parameter value; and determine whether a first transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state for the first transmission and one or more additional TCI states for the one or more repeated transmission are different based on the repetition parameter value.

Abstract: Apparatus, systems, and methods to implement enhanced sounding reference signaling for uplink (UL) beam tracking in communication systems are described. In one example, an apparatus of an evolved Node B (eNB) comprising processing circuit to broadcast system information about one or more sets of uplink transmit time intervals and bandwidths available for a sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission from a first user equipment (UE), configure one or more UE-specific SRS processes for the first UE for uplink beam tracking, and configure one or more millimeter wave access points (mmW APs) to transmit a mmW signal to the first UE and receive a mmW signal from the first UE. Other examples are also disclosed and claimed.

Abstract: An apparatus configured to be employed in a gNodeB associated with a new radio (NR) system is disclosed. The apparatus comprises one or more processors configured to configure one or more sidelink sounding reference signals (SRS), for one or more user equipments (UEs) associated with the gNodeB, to be utilized by the one or more UEs for transmission or reception, or both, over sidelink. The one or more processors is further configured to generate one or more sidelink SRS configuration signals to be provided, respectively, to the one or more UEs, wherein each sidelink SRS configuration signal comprises sidelink SRS configuration information on the one or more sidelink SRS configured for a respective UE. The apparatus further comprises a radio frequency (RF) interface, configured to provide, to a radio frequency (RF) circuitry, the one or more sidelink SRS configuration signals, for subsequent transmission to the one or more UEs, respectively.

Abstract: Described is an apparatus of a User Equipment (UE) operable to communicate with an Evolved Node-B (eNB) on a wireless network. The first circuitry may be operable to process a configuration transmission carrying a half-tone shifting indicator. The second circuitry may be operable to select one or more subcarrier frequencies for Uplink (UL) transmission based on the half-tone shifting indicator. The third circuitry may be operable to generate a UL transmission for the one or more subcarrier frequencies. The half-tone shifting indicator may have a first value indicating application of a half-subcarrier offset, and a second value indicating no application of the half-subcarrier offset.

The UE can be configured to: identify a resource set for a WUS with a repetition level, wherein: the resource set for the WUS includes a mapping of the WUS that associates the WUS with one or more physical resource blocks and one or more orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols, and the repetition level identifies a number of base sequences for the WUS in the resource set; and switch to a network access mode (NAM) from a power saving mode (PSM) based on a detection of the WUS in the resource set.
