Abstract: An intelligent agent monitors operation of at least one software virtualized network (VN). Context information associated with the VN is used to analyze a state of the VN. At least one configuration change is caused to the VN in response to analysis of the state of the VN. A change is identified to the state of the VN caused by the configuration change. A determination is made as to whether or not the change to the state of the VN is an improvement to operation of the VN. A response to the determination is made by causing at least one other configuration change to the VN.

Abstract: A processing system having at least one processor may obtain a two-dimensional source video, select a volumetric video associated with at least one feature of the source video from a library of volumetric videos, identify a first object in the source video, and determine a location of the first object within a space of the volumetric video. The processing system may further obtain a three-dimensional object model of the first object, texture map the first object to the three-dimensional object model of the first object to generate an enhanced three-dimensional object model of the first object, and modify the volumetric video to include the enhanced three-dimensional object model of the first object in the location of the first object within the space of the volumetric video.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing a recommended action are disclosed. For example, the method receives first data that is measured via at least one sensor deployed at a venue, receives second data from at least one user endpoint device present at the venue, wherein the second data comprises data that is measured via a sensor associated with the at least one user endpoint device, applies a perception model of the venue to the first data and the second data that are received, generates at least one recommended action when a threshold is reached, wherein the threshold is established for generating the at least one recommended action, and provides an update to the perception model of the venue based on the at least one recommended action that is generated.

Abstract: A method includes accessing, at a base station of a wireless communications network, information identifying a plurality of user devices in a coverage area of the base station. The method includes determining a forecasted content request for media content at a particular time for delivery to a first user device of the plurality of user devices based on media consumption data for the first user device. The method includes receiving, from a second user device of the plurality of user devices, a request for the media content at a time before the particular time. The method includes sending an instruction to the first user device that directs the first user device store the media content received via a multicast transmission of the media content. The method also includes sending the media content via the multicast transmission to the first user device and to the second user device responsive to the request.

Abstract: A processing system having at least one processor may establish a communication session between a first communication system of a first user and a second communication system of a second user, the communication session including first video content of a first physical environment of the first user and second video content of a second physical environment of the second user, determine a first visualization action for a first physical object in the first physical environment in accordance with a first configuration setting of the first user for the communication session, obtain the first video content from a first camera of the first communication system, detect the first physical object in the first video content, and perform the first visualization action to modify the first video content. The processing system may then transmit first visualization information including the first video content that is modified to the second communication system.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, analyzing content flow data in a communication network to obtain flow statistics; the statistics are aggregated to construct a model of the content flow based on the aggregated flow statistics. Operations of network nodes are predicted based on the model; a content delivery path in the communication network is identified. A quality of service is detected for network nodes on the content delivery path. The detected quality of service is compared with a predicted quality of service based on the model; a network anomaly is detected based on the comparing. The content flow on the content delivery path is adjusted responsive to detection of the network anomaly. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, analyzing video content obtained from a 360 degree camera to discern a point of interest in the video content and obtaining information about a viewer of the video content. A field of view is predicted based on the information about the viewer and the analysis of the video content. Less than 180 degrees of the video content centered on the predicted field of view is sent to equipment of the viewer. A monitored line of sight of the viewer is obtained based upon eye movements of the viewer relative to an orientation of the viewer. The analysis is updated based on the monitored line of sight and the predicted field of view is updated based on the updated analysis. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: A system and method of synchronizing displays of a multimedia content stream in a plurality of devices are presented. A first multimedia stream of a content from a first content provider is provided to a first device. A second multimedia stream of the content from a second content provider is provided to a second device. A time stamp is generated for the first multimedia stream and the second multimedia stream. A synchronization offset is determined from a time on a global clock and the first time stamp and second time stamp. The first device is instructed to synchronize the first multimedia stream with the second multimedia stream. Feedback on the level of synchronization is received from the first device.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, computer-implemented methods, and tangible computer-readable media for synthesizing a virtual window. The method includes receiving an environment feed, selecting video elements of the environment feed, displaying the selected video elements on a virtual window in a window casing, selecting non-video elements of the environment feed, and outputting the selected non-video elements coordinated with the displayed video elements. Environment feeds can include synthetic and natural elements. The method can further toggle the virtual window between displaying the selected elements and being transparent. The method can track user motion and adapt the displayed selected elements on the virtual window based on the tracked user motion. The method can further detect a user in close proximity to the virtual window, receive an interaction from the detected user, and adapt the displayed selected elements on the virtual window based on the received interaction.
