    摘要: A viewfinder assembly fabricated virtually exclusively of injection molded plastics includes a housing, four lens groups, four mirrors for folding the optical path and providing for proper image orientation, and mirror retainers. All of the components are structured to snap-fit together such that the optical components of the assembly are automatically nominally positioned when placed connected in the housing. Adjustment features for lens tilt and framing are also provided and, as well, means for displaying visual information in the viewfinder field.

    摘要: A wire terminal connection by which a leaf-like contact may be electrically joined with a stripped end portion of a wire lead retained by a non-conductive mounting structure for the contact. As disclosed, the connection is embodied in a battery contact assembly of a photographic camera in which all electrical components are assembled as an interior module to be pretested for operational reliability prior to assembly of the module with an exterior housing. The retention of the wire leads by the non-conductive contact mounting facilitates module assembly and pretesting prior to applying the battery contacts.

    摘要: An automatic injection apparatus including a delay mechanism for properly delivering medication prior to the needled syringe of the apparatus being retracted. In one form, the delay mechanism includes a shuttle (170) for the syringe, a follower (250), a locking member, a damping compound between the follower and a supporting surface (308) to dampen rotation of the follower relative to the shuttle, and a dual functioning biasing member (290) acting between the shuttle and the follower. When the locking member moves to a release position during an injection, the dual functioning biasing member first provides a torsional force to force the follower to rotate relative to the shuttle from a latching position to an unlatching position, and then the dual functioning biasing member provides an axial force to force the shuttle axially relative to the follower to move the shuttle for retracting the syringe needle into the housing of the apparatus after injection.

    摘要: In various embodiments, a camera may be controlled by one or more motors in a base of the camera. Cables and other components may be used to manipulate the camera lens through the side arms of the camera. Putting the motors in the base may reduce the size of the outer case of the camera and add stability. A pan motor may pan the camera while a tilt motor may move a tilt pulley relative to a lens portion of the camera (which may or may not tilt the camera depending on the panning motion of the camera). In some embodiments, images from the camera may be converted into a serialized stream and transported over a cable from the lens through a center shaft of the camera.
