Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of a mixture of at least one semi-crystalline aliphatic polyamide and at least one amorphous polyamide, wherein the at least one semi-crystalline aliphatic polyamide is obtained by polycondensation: of at least one C6 to C18, preferentially C10 to C18, more preferentially C10 to C12 amino acid, or at least one C6 to C18, preferentially C10 to C18, more preferentially C10 to C12 lactam, or at least one C4-C36, preferentially C5-C18, preferentially C5-C12, more preferentially C10-C12 diamine Ca, with at least one C4-C36, preferentially C6-C18, preferentially C6-C12, more preferentially C10-C12 dicarboxylic acid Cb; in order to prepare a semi-crystalline composition, the modulus of which does not vary by more than 25% within the temperature range from 10° C. to 40° C.

Abstract: A polyamide-based polymer composition including: a) 50% to 98% by weight of a transparent amorphous polyamide; b) 1% to 15% by weight of a polymer in the form of core-shell particles; and c) 1% to 15% by weight of a polyether block and polyamide block copolymer, wherein the polyether block and polyamide block copolymer has: as a 2 mm layer, a transmittance at 560 nm of 90% or more; and a refractive index that does not differ by more than 0.01 from that of the transparent amorphous polyamide and wherein the polymer in the form of core-shell particles has a refractive index that does not differ by more than 0.01 from that of the transparent amorphous polyamide. Also, a process for the manufacture of the composition, and the composition capable of being obtained by said process.
