Abstract:
A container-less JSP system is provided. An example container-less JSP system comprises a detector, a trigger module, and an invoker. The detector may be configured to detect a request initiated by a client application to invoke a JSP template. The request is a protocol-neutral Java™ interface. The trigger module may be configured to trigger the protocol-neutral Java™ interface to invoke the JSP template. The invoker may be configured to invoke the JSP template.
Abstract:
A system and a method publishes a message at a current user web page. A database includes a user list, a current page attribute, and a rule having a first component associated with the user list and having a second component associated with the current page attribute. A rules engine applies the rule using the user list and the current page attribute to publish a message to a user at a current user web page.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for compensating reducing jitter produced by a phase-locked loop are disclosed. For example, in a particular embodiment, a phase-locked loop device for reducing jitter may include a voltage-control oscillator (VCO) signal configured to produce a VCO signal, phase-detection circuitry configured to compare an input signal and the VCO signal to produce a phase error signal, and slew-rate limiting circuitry configured to receive the phase error signal and apply a slew-rate limit process on the phase error signal to produce a modified error signal.
Abstract:
Apparatus having corresponding methods and computer programs comprise: a processor; a test interface that is in communication with the processor only when the test interface is enabled; a first one-time-programmable (OTP) memory; and a non-volatile memory to store boot code for the processor, wherein when the processor is booted, the boot code causes the processor to test the first OTP memory; wherein the boot code causes the processor to enable the test interface when the first OTP memory has not been programmed; and wherein the boot code causes the processor to disable the test interface when the first OTP memory has been programmed.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus to provide a handheld pointer-based user interface are described herein. An example apparatus includes a wireless pointer component and one or more base components. The wireless pointer component is configured to transmit one or more human-computer interaction (HCI) signals associated with an HCI event via a first communication link. One or more base components are operatively coupled to a screen of a display to receive the one or more HCI signals from the wireless pointer component via the first communication link. Further, the one or more base components are configured to generate at least one of operating information and position information of the wireless pointer component based on the one or more HCI signals, and to transmit the at least one of operating information and position information to a processor configured to generate screen information on the screen of the display via a second communication link.
Abstract:
Aspects of the disclosure provide a method. The method includes boosting a portion of frequency components of a digital signal that is converted from an analog signal based on a clock signal, generating a decision signal based on the boosted digital signal, generating a timing error signal based on the boosted digital signal and the decision signal, and filtering the timing error signal to generate a voltage signal to control a voltage controlled oscillator to generate the clock signal.
Abstract:
Aspects of the disclosure provide a signal processing circuit. The signal processing circuit includes a processing path and a zero-start module. The processing path is configured to process an electrical signal that is generated in response to reading data on a storage medium. The data includes at least a first field and a second field. The electrical signal has a first profile corresponding to the first field and has a second profile corresponding to the second field. The zero-start module is configured to detect a field change from the first field to the second field, and control the processing path to add a compensation as a function of a profile change from the first profile to the second profile to keep the processed electrical signal to have a predetermined profile in response to the detected field change.

Abstract:
A method and system to manage content is provided to generate an abstraction layer between a user application and content, based on a formal definition of content (referred to as a content contract). An example content system comprises a content bundle module, a user application, and a content access interface module. The content bundle module may be configured to store content items. A content item may include text items and placeholders. The user application, which does not have to be coded with specific knowledge regarding the content bundle, may be configured to receive a request to provide to a to a client system a presentation package (e.g., a web page) that has the content item, and to obtain the content item and any associated metadata from the content access interface module. Content item metadata may include, for example, information regarding a value to populate a placeholder in the content item.
