    Abstract: A stent delivery system includes an inner elongate shaft including a proximal portion, a distal portion, at least one lumen extending at least partially therethrough, and a stent receiving portion on the distal portion of the elongate shaft. An outer elongate shaft including a proximal portion, a distal portion, and first, second, and third lumens. A stent is positioned on the stent receiving portion of the elongate shaft, the stent having a first configuration and a second configuration. A proximal constraining arrangement is engaged with a proximal end of the stent. A distal constraining arrangement is engaged with a distal end of the stent. The first proximal constraining member is positioned within the first lumen of the outer elongate shaft, the second proximal constraining member is positioned within the second lumen of the outer elongate shaft, and the distal constraining arrangement is positioned within the inner elongate shaft.

    Abstract: A stent and method for treating an end of a pre-woven stent is provided. The method includes providing a pre-woven stent including a plurality of sharp wire ends. The wire ends are arranged in pairs. A separate cap is placed over the ends of the paired wires. The wire ends are secured to the cap, such that the sharp ends are covered by the cap. The cap may have a pair of leg portions that combine to form a curved bend portion. The cap may be flexible. The wire ends may be received in open ends of the cap. The cap may include a pair of legs portions connected by a flexible bridge portion. The caps may be disposed at different axial locations. The caps may be disposed at a single end of the stent, with the opposite end being without sharp ends after being pre-woven. Alternatively, the caps may be applied to both ends of the pre-woven stent having sharp ends at both ends after being pre-woven. The pre-woven stent is preferably a machine woven stent.

    Abstract: A stent delivery system is provided with an inner elongate shaft having a proximal portion and a distal portion and an outer elongate shaft having a lumen extending at least partially therethrough, wherein the proximal portion of the inner elongate shaft is at least partially movably disposed within the lumen.     Abstract: A prosthesis and a method of manufacturing the prosthesis for controlling flow through a bodily lumen are provided. The valve includes a material portion operably connected to the valve, the material portion providing increased stiffness to the valve relative to the valve alone, wherein the material portion is configured to facilitate self-reversion of the valve to the closed configuration.
