摘要： A method for operating a terminal for supporting a handover in a heterogeneous network is provided. The method includes measuring received signal strength from a target small base station, so that a Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) is estimated, when the SNR of the target small base station that considers a biased value for range expansion is greater than an SNR of a serving macro base station, determining whether an SNR of the target small base station that does not consider the biased value for the range expansion is equal to or less than a threshold, and when the SNR of the target small base station that does not consider the biased value for the range expansion is equal to or less than the threshold, transmitting indication information, informing that a low SNR is expected when the terminal performs a handover to the target small base station, to the serving macro base station.

摘要： An apparatus is configured to perform a method for selecting a cell to increase transmission capacity in a wireless communication system. A Mobile Station (MS) can select a cell in a heterogeneous network system. The MS can receive a loading indicator for each of a plurality of Base Stations (BS); measure signal strength information for each of the BSs; and select one of the BSs using the loading indicator and the signal strength information. Therefore, the transmission efficiency of the system can be increased.

摘要： A method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving MAP information in a communication system are provided. A base station acquires channel quality information of each mobile station, generates sub-MAPs using MAP information, to which at least one of a coding scheme, a modulation scheme and a repetition scheme is applied, separately for each mobile station according to the channel quality information, and transmits the generated sub-MAPs. A mobile station receives MAP information from the base station, detects a sub-MAP allocated to the mobile station from the received MAP information, and restores the detected sub-MAP to MAP information using at least one of a corresponding decoding scheme, demodulation scheme and repetition scheme corresponding to coding scheme, modulation scheme and repetition scheme applied in the base station, based on channel quality information of the mobile station. Accordingly, system overhead can be reduced.

摘要： A method is presented describing in situ preparation of the titania-based sol-gel PDMS coating and its immobilization on the inner surface of a fused silica microextraction capillary. Sol-gel titania-poly (dimethylsiloxane) (TiO2-PDMS) coating was developed for capillary microextraction (CME) to perform on-line preconcentration and HPLC analysis of trace impurities in aqueous samples. The sol-gel titania-based coatings demonstrated strong pH stability and enhanced extraction capability over other commercially available GC coatings. Extraction characteristics of a sol-gel titania-PDMS capillary remained practically unchanged after continuous rinsing with a 0.1 M NaOH solution (pH=13) for 12 hours.

摘要： An apparatus and a method for composing a subchannel in a wireless communication system are provided. The method includes performing a subband-based permutation on resources for composing a subchannel; selecting one or more subbands as resources for a band selection subchannel from the resources passing through the subband-based permutation; composing the band selection subchannel using at least one of the selected subbands; performing a resource allocation unit based permutation on resources not selected for the band selection subchannel; composing a resource allocation unit based diversity subchannel using subband remained in the selected subbands after the band selection subchannel is composed and at least one of the resource allocation units of the resources passing through the resource allocation unit based permutation; and composing a tone-based diversity subchannel by performing a tone-based permutation on resources remained after the resource allocation unit based diversity subchannel is composed.
