    摘要: Systems and methodologies are described that facilitate simultaneous transmission of control information in a single sub-frame. For instance, simultaneous transmission can maintain single carrier waveforms for a control channel even when a plurality of information types is scheduled in concurrently. Channel quality indicators, scheduling requests and acknowledgement messages can be jointly coded. In addition, reference symbols in a sub-frame can be modulated to indicate values associated with a scheduling request or an acknowledgement message. Moreover, in situations where channel quality indicators, scheduling requests and or acknowledgement messages are simultaneously scheduled, one or more can be dropped. Further, a single carrier constraint can be relaxed to enable simultaneous transmission of information in the sub-frame at different frequencies.

The wireless communications circuitry may include radio-frequency transceiver circuitry and antenna structures. The antenna structures may form an antenna having first and second feeds at different locations. The transceiver circuit may have a first circuit that handles communications using the first feed and may have a second circuit that handles communications using the second feed. A first filter may be interposed between the first feed and the first circuit and a second filter may be interposed between the second feed and the second circuit. The first and second filters and the antenna may be configured so that the first circuit can use the first feed without being adversely affected by the presence of the second feed and so that the second circuit can use the second feed without being adversely affected by the presence of the first feed.

The tank includes a body having a substantially flat top wall, a substantially flat bottom wall and a pair of opposing sidewalls that join the top wall and bottom wall to form an open-ended cuboid having a first open end and an opposing second open end. The tank additionally includes a first end cap connected to the top wall, bottom wall and sidewalls at the first open end, and a second end cap connected to the top wall, bottom wall and sidewalls at the second open end, thereby defining an internal cavity in which gas can be removably stored. The tank further includes a plurality of wall supports connected the top and bottom walls to prevent deformation of the tank. The wall supports are structured to allow gas to move throughout the entire internal cavity of the tank.

    摘要: Techniques for transmitting control information in a wireless communication system are described. The system may support acknowledgement (ACK) channels and channel quality indicator (CQI) channels, which may have different target signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs). The ACK and CQI channels from different user equipments (UEs) may be multiplexed on the same resource block. In one design, the transmit power of a CQI channel may be set to achieve a nominal target SNR for CQI when not multiplexed with the ACK channels and may be reduced to achieve a lower target SNR when multiplexed with the ACK channels. In another design, the transmit power of an ACK channel may be set to achieve a nominal target SNR for ACK when not multiplexed with the CQI channels and may be boosted to achieve a higher target SNR when multiplexed with the CQI channels. The CQI channel may randomly hop to mitigate performance degradation.

    摘要: The present invention provides peptide-based peroxidase inhibitors having the formula AA1-AA2-AA3, wherein AA1 is a positively charged, negatively charged or neutral amino acid, AA2 is a redox active amino acid, and AA3 is an amino acid possessing a reducing potential such that AA3 is capable of undergoing a redox reaction with a radical of amino acid AA2 or a retro or retro-inverso analog thereof. The result of such a combination is a highly effective inhibitor of peroxidase activity that has potent anti-inflammatory properties in widely diverse models of vascular disease and injury. Exemplary tripeptides effectively inhibit peroxidase mediated LDL oxidation, increase vasodilation in SCD mice, inhibit eosinophil infiltration and collagen deposition in asthma mice, inhibit acute lung injury, and decrease ischemic injury of the heart.

    摘要: A low complexity List Viterbi algorithm (LVA) for decoding tail biting convolutional codes (TBCCs) has lower complexity than a solution of running the LVA algorithm for all states. In one aspect, a low complexity LVA-TBCC process includes finding a list of states from a single Viterbi algorithm and finding a list of potential codewords for each state in the state list using the LVA. A cyclic redundancy check may prune out false solutions. The disclosed method may be applied to many communication systems to improve error performance similar to LTE downlink PBCH decoding enhancements.

In one implementation, an exemplary system finds a directional property of an image, such as a visual trend, factorizes a DCT operation into primal operations, and applies the primal operations along a corresponding direction to perform the DCT. Motion compensated DCT applies the primal operations along a motion trajectory of a video sequence. When the directional DCT is applied blockwise, the directional coding modes for adjacent blocks can be optimized in view of each other using a weighted graph to represent the related coding mode decisions.
