摘要: Systems and methods provide directional discrete cosine transformation (DCT) and motion compensated DCT. In one implementation, an exemplary system finds a directional property of an image, such as a visual trend, factorizes a DCT operation into primal operations, and applies the primal operations along a corresponding direction to perform the DCT. Motion compensated DCT applies the primal operations along a motion trajectory of a video sequence. When the directional DCT is applied blockwise, the directional coding modes for adjacent blocks can be optimized in view of each other using a weighted graph to represent the related coding mode decisions.

摘要: The present invention relates to a ball picking robot, comprising a walking mechanism, a ball picking mechanism, a ball pushing mechanism and a ball storage mechanism. 摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An encoder of a wireless device may receive a transport block (TB) for transmission and segment the transport block into a set of multiple, smaller data segments that respectively In correspond to a plurality of code blocks of the TB. The encoder may generate a code block level (CB-level) error detection code (EDC) for a subset of the data segments. The encoder may generate a transport block-level (TB-level) EDC for the TB using the data segments. Each of the code blocks (CBs) may be of the same size and may include one of the data segments. A subset of the CBs may include a data segment from the subset of the data segments and one of the CB-level EDCs. The remaining CBs that are not part of the subset may include a remaining data segments and the TB-level EDC.

摘要: A transmitting device may identify a set of bit locations of a polar code for encoding an input vector based at least in part on a reliability order of the bit locations, where the input vector includes a set of payload bits. The transmitting device may map bits of the input vector to respective bit locations of the identified set of bit locations and may apply a masking operation to a subset of bits of the input vector that is mapped to a most reliable subset of the set of bit locations. The transmitting device may perform an encoding operation according to the mapped input vector to generate a codeword for transmission. A receiving device may perform complementary operations to obtain the payload bits of the input vector. Based on the described techniques, a false alarm rate for the receiving device may be suppressed.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitting device, such as a base station or a user equipment (UE), may generate a first set of encoded bits using a polar code. The transmitting device may transmit the first set of encoded bits to a receiving device, but the receiving device may unsuccessfully receive the transmission. The transmitting device may prepare a retransmission by generating a second set of encoded bits. In some cases, the transmitting device may copy information bits from the first transmission to polarized channels when generating the polar code for the retransmission. The transmitting device may copy information bits based on how the information bits were assigned for the first transmission as well as the block length. The transmitting device may copy information bits such that the retransmission is self-decodable.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some wireless communications systems may support hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) schemes to improve the likelihood that information is received correctly over a wireless communications link. In HARQ, when a transmitting device determines that a receiving device failed to successfully decode a transmission of information, the transmitting device may retransmit the information to the receiving device. In some cases, HARQ techniques may be used for communications associated with different types of services. In such cases, to keep the latency of communications within a latency budget for a particular type of service, wireless devices may utilize the techniques described herein to dynamically terminate HARQ retransmissions. For instance, a transmitting device may avoid retransmitting information when an amount of time that has elapsed since an original transmission of the information has exceeded the latency budget.

摘要: Aspects of the disclosure relate to methods and apparatus of time-domain multiplexing (TDM) for reference signals (RS) and data using a modified cyclic prefix. A reference signal (RS) and data are multiplexed either in a single symbol or in two time consecutive symbols that respectively including the RS and data. The cyclic prefix (CP) is added to the single symbol using a portion of the RS or to a first symbol of the two time consecutive symbols using a portion of the RS. The CP may be copied from the RS or the end of the symbol, but not the data, in a manner that affords a virtual Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) of the RS and data before discrete Fourier transform (DFT) spreading is performed in a transceiver to provide lower peak to average power ratios and no Inter-symbol interference.

摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to techniques that may be used to discover transmission points in heterogeneous networks (HetNet) that involves coordinated multi-point (CoMP) transmission and reception. Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE). The method generally includes receiving a configuration indicating distinct resources used by each of a plurality of different transmission points involved in coordinated multipoint (CoMP) operations with the UE for transmitting discovery reference signals (RSs), receiving distinct discovery RSs transmitted from the plurality of different transmission points, and calculating at least one of path loss or reference signal received power (RSRP) estimations for each of the transmission points based on the distinct discovery RSs.
