Abstract: A modular wall includes a plurality of inter-connectable and interchangeable wall modules. At least one of the wall modules includes a recessed, extendable piece of furniture, such as a bed, desk, table, work surface or chair. When in a closed configuration, the furniture folds into or otherwise resides within a recessed pocket in the modular wall. When in the closed configuration, the outer surface of the furniture forms an exterior surface of the wall module; thereby, concealing the furniture seamlessly into the modular wall. The exterior surface can comprise one or more exterior interchangeable tiles.

Abstract: A modular wall system with an integrated pocket door includes a frame defining a wall plane and a doorway. The system also includes one or more aesthetic panels connected to at least a portion of the frame so as to cover at least a portion of the wall frame. Additionally, the system includes a support member extending above the doorway and across at least a portion of the wall plane. The support member includes an integrated track that is accessible through one or more access windows integrated into the support member. The system includes a slideable pocket door integrated into the track such that when closed, the pocket door blocks the doorway, and when open, the pocket door is at least partially enclosed behind the one or more aesthetic panels.

Abstract: A connector bracket is used to connect a second wall module to a first wall module at an intermediate position between opposing sides of the first wall module. The connector bracket can include a first connector plate, having one or more tabs extending therefrom, that connects to a vertical bracket of the second wall module and a second connector plate that connects to a horizontal support member of the first wall module. The connector bracket can additionally include a transition plate connected between the first connector plate and the second connector plate. The connector bracket can allow for the two wall modules to be connected together at right angles, obtuse singles, or acute angles, depending on the orientation and/or configuration of the connector bracket, the second connector bracket, and/or the transition bracket.

Abstract: A reconfigurable modular partition system having a plurality of different types of interchangeable (wall or ceiling) modules with different types of compatible connection components, each connection component being configured to align with another connection component at an interface to form an interface connection (e.g., channel) for securing the connection components together with one or more universal connection interface members. The interface is configured for on-demand reconfiguration without laborious alteration to aspects of the partition system, modules, and components thereof. Reconfiguration of modules is facilitated by removing the universal connection interface member from the channel, thereby releasing the attachment mechanism and allowing rearrangement of the module(s). Replacement of the universal connection interface member secures the reconfigured modules in place in the rearranged partition system.
