摘要: An ERF filled engine mount includes a main working chamber and first and second auxiliary chambers. Orifice passages in which electrodes are disposed, fluidly connect the main working chamber with the first auxiliary chamber. A gutter is defined by a casing in which a movable member is disposed. This member is arranged to be moved (vibrated) by the pressure changes which occur in the main working chamber when the mount is subject to vibration which tend to cause cabin reverberation noise. An electrode is mounted on an electrically non-conductive portion of the casing structure and arranged to cooperate with a conductive portion thereof. This electrodes has a voltage impressed thereon during engine idle and shake modes and is de-energized when the reverberation noise inducing frequency is approached.

摘要: The acceleration which is induced by the vibration applied to the device is sensed along with the pressure which develops in an auxiliary or expansion chamber associated with the main working chamber. When the product of the pressure and the acceleration exhibits a predetermined characteristic, a voltage is applied to the electrodes in the orifice passage to increase the viscosity of the ERF.

摘要: A system for shaking water off a surface includes an electromagnetically operable driver unit for driving a member having the surface. The driver unit is connected to a control unit which controls oscillation frequency to be generated by the driver unit. The control unit adjusts the frequency of oscillation transmitted to the member for matching the oscillation frequency with the resonating frequency of the member for effectively shaking the water off the surface.

摘要: A paper sheet handling apparatus 1 includes: a casing which includes a first face and a second face opposed to the first face; a receiving unit 211 which receives paper sheets; a recognition unit 212 which performs at least one of a counting process and a recognition process with respect to the paper sheets; at least two stacking units 31-34 which stack the paper sheets after processing in the recognition unit 212; a transport unit 4 for transporting the paper sheets among the receiving unit 211, the recognition unit 212 and the stacking units 31-34; and a controller which controls each of the units, thereby having each of the paper sheets selectively stacked in the stacking units 31-34. Each of the stacking units 31-34 has at least two paper sheet removal openings 3L, 3R which are open in the first face and the second face. The paper sheets in the stacking units 31-34 are allowed to be removed through the paper sheet removal openings 3L, 3R, from the first face side and the second face side of the casing.
