摘要: In some embodiments, a LIDAR system may include at least one processor configured to control at least one light source for projecting light toward a field of view and receive from at least one first sensor first signals associated with light projected by the at least one light source and reflected from an object in the field of view, wherein the light impinging on the at least one first sensor is in a form of a light spot having an outer boundary. The processor may further be configured to receive from at least one second sensor second signals associated with light noise, wherein the at least one second sensor is located outside the outer boundary; determine, based on the second signals received from the at least one second sensor, an indicator of a magnitude of the light noise; and determine, based on the indicator the first signals received from the at least one first sensor and, a distance to the object.

摘要: A self-cleaning device comprises at least one first electrode disposed on a solid material layer, a first dielectric layer disposed on the first electrode, a hydrophobic layer disposed on the first dielectric layer, and at least one mechanical oscillation unit. Electrical oscillation for oscillating a droplet in a horizontal direction is generated by applying a first electric signal to the first electrode, thereby merging droplets formed on the hydrophobic layer, the mechanical oscillation unit moves the merged droplets in a specific direction or atomizes the merged droplets to remove the merged droplets by generating mechanical oscillation for oscillating the droplet in a vertical direction, and each of the droplets has a volume smaller than 3 μl, and new droplet having a volume more than 3 μl is generated by the merging.

To address this issue more and more of these devices are being integrated with the glazing. Laminated glazing is especially suitable for thin devices. Today, laminated glazing is produced with heating elements, antennas, lighting, touch sensors, RFID, electronic blinds and other types of devices integrated as a permanent part of the glazing. The invention comprises an automotive laminate with a thin integrated electroacoustic transducer integrated in the glazing.

摘要: A coating composition for imparting a hydrophobic film on a target surface is provided that includes an oil of a silicone oil or a fluoropolymer oil or a combination thereof, a resin, and a dry lubricant. A solvent is present to form a solution of the oil and resin. A coating is imparted to an applicator that in turn can transfer the coating as a hydrophobic film. The coating composition is stable and able to impart hydrophobic film even after storage for several weeks at elevated temperature. The coating composition does so through the exclusion of synthetic waxes especially including silicone waxes. A kit is also provided that includes a wiper blade having the above coating composition applied along with instructions for the securement of the wiper blade to a vehicle to impart the hydrophobic film to a vehicle windshield contacted by the wiper blade.

摘要: A vehicle having a particulate resistant windshield comprises a windshield, an ionizer, and a controller. The windshield is disposed in a cab portion of a vehicle. The windshield has a periphery. The ionizer has at least one electrode disposed adjacent the periphery of the windshield. The controller is in electrical communication with the ionizer. The controller generates a signal transmitted to the ionizer to control generation of ions by the ionizer. The ions generated by the ionizer are directed towards at least a portion of the windshield.

摘要: A laser powered cleaning system for cleaning pollutants and debris from both sides of automobile windshields and windows. The system includes an electromagnetic interior block having a top surface having a plurality of focused laser beams, and a magnetic exterior block having a top surface including a reflective surface. The windshield or window is situated between the interior and exterior blocks which pass over the window for cleaning. A power cord connected to an adapter plugs into an automobile power outlet for supplying power. A safety sensor is integrally coupled to the interior block for actuating the system when safe. The system is fixable onto a windshield or window within a door of an automobile. An on-off switch actuates the fixed system.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a device which may be permanently attached or removably attached to a material such as a vehicular glass window or airplane wing. This device may comprise of a converter sub-unit or vibrator and a coupler. These elements may be arranged to propagate mechanical motion generated by the converter sub-unit through the coupler and optionally into the edge of the attached material. The resulting vibration motion in the material, which could take the form of a longitudinal compression/rarefaction wave, transverse wave, or a combination of the two waveforms, may be of a sufficient magnitude so as to cause the adhesive bond between the material's surface and other solid debris, such as ice, to be broken. This allows the debris to fall away while not damaging the material. The vibration motion in the material may be also of sufficient magnitude to remove a liquid such as water from the material surface. In other embodiments, the device is connected to a pulser/receiver and/or a frequency spectrum electronic unit to function as a debris detector.
