摘要: The subject matter of the invention is formed by a cable distribution head with LSA-PLUS termination technique for terminating incoming and outgoing communications cables. LSA-PLUS termination technique means "solderless, non-screwed and non-stripped termination with polytropic air gap".In the housing (1) of the cable distribution head, which may be closed by a slip cover (4) adapted to be latched in the open and the closed state by means of projections (2, 3), there are provided a latchable LSA-PLUS terminal block (6) loaded with LSA-PLUS terminals (7a, 7b) disposed on the ends of a bar (7), there being provided between the LSA-PLUS terminals (7a, 7b) associated with the incoming and the outgoing communications cables (21, 22) an open-topped chamber (8) for receiving an overvoltage arrester magazine (9), further a clamping means (15) disposed on the end face (6a) of the LSA-PLUS terminal block (6) for solderless and non-screwed termination of an earth wire (16), a self-supporting shield contact member formed as a U-shaped metal clip (10) with contacting teeth (11) and a clip spring (12) adapted to be clamped into the metal clip (10), and a self-supporting strain relief means consisting of a clamping spring (13) adapted to be latched into the housing (1) and formed with a resilient lug (13a).

摘要: The invention relates to a connector bank for telecommunication systems comprising connecting elements 4, 25, 26 for cable wires and comprising contact elements 10 for electrical connection of the connecting elements 4, 25, 26 with the circuit tracks of a printed-circuit board 20.The arrangement prevents damage due to connecting forces which are otherwise transferred to the contact elements when connecting the cable wires to the connecting elements 4, 25, 26. According to the invention the contact elements 10 are provided as separate components of a contact pin 11 and of a plug connector member 12 being formed as one piece therewith for connection with the connecting elements 4, 25, 26.

摘要: A splice cassette housing for optical waveguides has to be brought from an installation position, e.g. a socket-type housing, to a splice position. The incoming and outgoing optical waveguide cables fed with known splice cassette housings along the longitudinal sidewalls are disadvantageous for the free mobility of the splice cassette housing. In order to achieve a high degree of freedom in the mobility of the splice cassette housing, the incoming and outgoing optical waveguide cables 8 and 9 are usually fed separately from each other to the splice cassette housing in a common axis within a flexible hose. Further, a groove-type guide channel 11 in the shape of a member "9" is provided in the bottom 6 of the housing for a change in direction of one of the optical waveguide cables by 180.degree., in order to be able to feed the individual optical waveguides again from opposed directions to the splice position. The splice cassette housing is suitable for applications especially in cable-terminal boxes, but also in cable distributors and the like for glass-fiber cables.

摘要: The invention relates to a method of and to an apparatus for attaching cables 20, to cutting-clamping terminals 44 wherein the cables have insulator sheaths 21 which are relatively thick in comparison with the diameters of their cores 22. A precutting device 11 is provided having a lever 23 of U-shaped cross-sectional outline which is mounted on the shank 14 of an applying hand tool. The inner sides 33 of the lateral walls 56, 57 of the U-shaped lever 23 carry arcuate knives 12, 13. These knives remove, at a predetermined contact area 37 of a cable, two portions 34, 35 of insulating material from the insulating shell 21 so that the contemplated contact area can be more readily forced into the slot 45 of a cutting-clamping terminal 44. The means on the shank for forcing the cable core 22 into the slot 45 comprises insertion ribs 32 at one end of the applying hand tool the other end of which is adjacent to a hollow arcuate handle 15 (FIG. 2).

摘要: A connection element having electric insulation-piercing terminal contact elements in a chamber of a receptacle part intended for the connection of electric conductors without stripping them. A sliding part is provided enclosing a part of the insulation-piercing terminal contact elements arranged in the chamber. The connection element permits easy and reliable connection of electrical insulated conductors without a special connecting tool and at the same time ensures as high a current-carrying capacity of the conductor as possible. A locating opening for the conductors is made in a sliding part 1 in an inclined position relative to the longitudinal axis of the sliding part, which longitudinal axis is at the same time the longitudinal axis of the chamber. The conductors are inserted into the insulation-piercing terminal connecting contacts, set at an angle to the wall of the chamber, and make electrical contact with the insulation-piercing terminal connection contacts.

摘要: The invention relates to a distribution bank for communication cables in particular a house incoming distribution bank. The distribution bank includes several plug accommodation sections formed each by four conductor plug sockets, one earth plug socket, connecting elements and plug sockets and being provided with test portions for test plugs. In order to obtain a simple electrical connection between the plug accommodation sections, the connecting elements and the test positions, the plug accommodation sections, the plug sockets and the connecting elements are arranged in parallel rows. A row of the plug accommodation sections is arranged centrally, and one row each of test plug sockets and connecting elements are arranged on both sides of the central row of plug accommodation sections. Connecting plates extend to the parallel rows and are plugged into the distribution bank. The connecting plates bear on one side a conductor plug socket, and on the other side, a connecting element which is formed as a cutting/clamping contract, and in the center, there is a test portion.

摘要: The invention relates to a terminal element of leaf-shaped resilient contact material for making a solderless, non-screwed and non-stripping contact with a drop wire cable and a cable wire. The terminal element (1) comprises in the central region of a contact slot (2) a second slot (3) extending to left and right and having an overall inverted U-shape. Above the inverted U-slot (3) the contact slot (2) has a larger width for termination of the drop wire cable than beneath the mouth of the inverted U-slot (3), wherein the lower, narrower portion (2a) of the contact slot is used to terminate a cable wire.
