Abstract:
A reference signal (RS) transmission system to transmit a channel state information (CSI) RS for extraction of CSI to a relay and a macro terminal is disclosed. The base station transmits information on a sub frame containing the CSI RS to the relay or the macro terminal. The macro terminal and the relay receive the CSI RS using the information on the sub frame. The macro terminal and the relay extract the CSI using the CSI RS and transmit the extracted CSI to the base station.
Abstract:
A method for reducing power consumption of a terminal that communicates with a base station in a mobile communication system using a multi-carrier structure composed of a primary component carrier and at least one secondary component carrier comprises: receiving a discontinuous reception (DRX) parameter group for multi carriers from the base station; and setting the multi carriers to the same parameter value, by using the received parameter group. The method for reducing power consumption of the terminal further comprises: performing a downlink control channel receive operation on each carrier according to a DRX cycle. As the base station in the mobile communication system using the multi-carrier structure simplifies the DRX process for reducing power consumption of a terminal by reducing signaling load for the multi-carrier control of the terminal, it becomes possible to reduce power consumption of the terminal.
Abstract:
A resource management method performed by a CP in C-RAN system includes configuring M user-centric cells for M terminals with a plurality of ANs, and determining a number K of orthogonal resource sharing groups sharing a same orthogonal resource; selecting K user-centric cells as group headers for the K orthogonal resource sharing groups, and adding the selected K user-centric cells as group headers to the K orthogonal resource sharing groups; configuring the K orthogonal resource sharing groups by sequentially adding ungrouped user-centric cells to the K orthogonal resource sharing groups; and dividing total system resources into K orthogonal resources, and mapping the divided K orthogonal resources to the K orthogonal resource sharing groups, respectively.
Abstract:
Disclosed are methods for transmitting and receiving beamforming-based signals in a communication system. An operation method of a terminal may comprise transmitting capability information of the terminal to an AN; receiving first configuration information of a network cluster configured based on the capability information from the AN; transmitting an SRS in a beamforming scheme through resources indicated by the first configuration information; receiving second configuration information of a user cluster configured based on a measurement result of the SRS from the AN; and performing cooperative communication with ANs belonging to the user cluster, which are indicated by the second configuration information. Accordingly, the performance of the communication system can be improved.
Abstract:
Provided is a data transmission system using a carrier aggregation. The data transmission system may assign a radio resource based on a correspondence relationship between a downlink and an uplink, and may transmit data using the assigned radio resource.
Abstract:
A hybrid beamforming based cooperative transmission system may comprise comprising a centralized processor (CP), access nodes (ANs) connected to the CP, and fronthaul links connecting the CP to the ANs. The CP may provide an outer precoding matrix for a first AN of the ANs, which is derived from global statistical channel state information (CSI) generated from local statistical CSI collected from the ANs, to the first AN via the fronthaul link; and the first AN may configure a radio frequency (RF) precoder of the first AN based on the outer precoding matrix, and configure a digital precoder of the first AN based on local instantaneous effective CSI between the first AN and first terminals to be served by the first AN.
Abstract:
Provided is a communication system that transmits a control channel using a downlink. The communication system may transmit, to the terminal, transmission information of uplink allocation information that indicates whether uplink allocation information is transmitted using a downlink, and the terminal may determine whether the uplink allocation information is included in a downlink frame, based on the transmission information of uplink allocation information. The base station may transmit, to the terminal, information associated with a resource which has a possibility of being used for transmission of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), and the terminal may decode the PDCCH in the resource which has a possibility of being used for transmission of the PDCCH.
