Abstract: There are provided a medical image processing apparatus, a medical image processing method, a machine learning system, and a program that can reduce the volume of communication and can reduce the processing load of retraining or additional training that is performed by a machine learning apparatus. A medical image processing apparatus (13) includes: a trainer (26) that performs additional training for a first computer-aided diagnosis device on the basis of an input medical image; an evaluation unit that compares a second computer-aided diagnosis device obtained by the additional training with the first computer-aided diagnosis device and evaluates whether learning difference information about the additional training contributes to improvement of performance of the first computer-aided diagnosis device; a communication determination unit that determines, on the basis of a result of evaluation, whether the learning difference information is to be communicated; and a communication unit (34) that outputs the learning difference information in accordance with a result of determination by the communication determination unit.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an image processing device, an endoscope system, and an image processing method capable of efficiently saving a moving image in which a lesion is shown. An image processing device according to a first aspect of the present invention includes a moving image acquisition unit that acquires an examination moving image by an endoscope, a report information acquisition unit that acquires report information on an examination corresponding to the examination moving image, the report information including at least one of subject information of a still image acquired in the examination or acquisition time information of the still image, a report information analysis unit that extracts at least one of subject information of a lesion image or acquisition time information of the lesion image from the report information, and a moving image saving unit that saves a lesion moving image, which is a moving image for a time range in which the lesion image is included in the examination moving image, on the basis of a result of the extraction.

Abstract: A medical image processing apparatus includes a recognition unit that detects a region of interest from an acquired medical image and classifies the region of interest; a display control unit that causes emphasis display for emphasizing the region of interest and a classification for the region of interest to be displayed in a screen identical to a screen for displaying an observation target included in the medical image; and an observation image switching unit that switches whether to display consecutive images or to display a still image by using a display device. In a case where consecutive image display of an observation image is switched to still image display by the observation image switching unit, the display control unit makes a change for reducing visual recognizability of at least any of the emphasis display or the classification compared with a case of the consecutive image display of the observation image.

Abstract: Provided are endoscopic image acquisition system and method that make observation of images easier when images are collected. The endoscopic image acquisition system includes a wavelength pattern changing unit that changes a wavelength pattern of irradiation light with which a part to be observed in a body cavity of a patient is irradiated or returning light from the part to be observed. Images of an observation wavelength pattern are captured at a certain frame rate. In response to acceptance of an acquisition instruction, images of a plurality of wavelength patterns different from one another are sequentially captured. The images of the plurality of wavelength patterns different from one another are stored in a storage unit. An image of a wavelength pattern other than the observation wavelength pattern is set not to be displayed.
