Abstract: Systems and methods are described for receiving, by processing circuitry, a plurality of maps of the geographic area, wherein each map of the plurality of maps is generated based on a respective plurality of overhead images captured during a respective portion of a time period, and each overhead image of the respective pluralities of overhead images comprises a respective plurality of pixels, and each pixel is designated as being of a particular mapping category of a plurality of mapping categories. The systems and methods may be configured to train, using the processing circuitry and the plurality of maps, the machine learning model to identify the expected distribution for the mapping categories of the geographic area at the given time.

Abstract: Systems and methods for utilizing living entities as markers for virtual content in an augmented reality environment are discussed herein. The virtual content may comprise objects, surfaces, textures, effects, and/or other content visibly manifested in views of the augmented reality environment. In some implementations, the virtual content may comprise an avatar and/or other full- or partial-body virtual content object depicted based on the living entity. A living entity and multiple linkage points for the living entity may be detected within the field of view of a user. Based on the arrangement of the linkage points, virtual content may be rendered and appear superimposed over or in conjunction with a view of the living entity in the augmented reality environment. In some implementations, the rendering of virtual content in the augmented reality environment may be triggered by the arrangement of the multiple linkage points for a given living entity.

Abstract: An optical synapse device which can be used in a neuromorphic machine vision system to enable broadband sensing and fast data processing in applications where machine vision is used, such as for example in real-time video analysis, autonomous vehicles and medical diagnosis. The novel optical synapse device enables image sensing, convolutional processing, and computing. Multiple synaptic plasticity triggered by photons can implement photonic computing and information transmission. Convolutional processing is realized by ultra-low energy kernel generators fully controlled by photons. The optical synapse device shows the ability of conductance modulations under electronic stimulations that implement neuromorphic computing. The novel two-terminal broadband optoelectronic synapse device enables front-end retinomorphic image sensing, convolutional processing, and back-end neuromorphic computing.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to computing platforms that apply augmented reality techniques for vehicle diagnostics. A computing platform may receive images of a vehicle. By applying image recognition and machine learning algorithms to the images of the vehicle, the computing platform may identify the vehicle. The computing platform may identify schematics corresponding to the vehicle. Using the schematics, the computing platform may generate x-ray image information corresponding to the vehicle. The computing platform may send the images, the x-ray image information, and commands directing an enterprise user device to display an x-ray image, which may cause the enterprise user device to: modify the images of the vehicle based on the x-ray image information, and display an x-ray vehicle interface depicting a portion of the vehicle that: is not visible in the images, but would be visible if an exterior portion of the vehicle was displaced.
