摘要: Disclosed are an endoscope knob device, an endoscope handle, and an endoscope. The endoscope knob device includes a first cable pulley defining a first perforation, a first matching portion, and a first latching portion; a second cable pulley defining a second matching portion and a second latching portion; and a first knob and a second knob which are sleeved over the first cable pulley and the second cable pulley, respectively. The first knob includes a third matching portion and a third latching portion that matches with the first latching portion. The third matching portion cooperates with the first matching portion, so that the first knob drives the first cable pulley to rotate. The second knob includes a fourth matching portion and a fourth latching portion. The fourth matching portion cooperates with the second matching portion, so that the second knob drives the second cable pulley to rotate.

The outer sleeve can comprise a first deflecting segment and a second deflecting segment at a distal portion of the outer sleeve and one or more slots at the distal portion. The endoscope can further comprise an inner sleeve positioned within the outer sleeve and comprising a working channel. The inner sleeve can comprise one or more extending elements at a distal portion of the inner sleeve, the one or more extending elements being coupled to the first deflecting segment of the outer sleeve. The endoscope can further comprise a tool advanceable through the working channel, wherein advancement of the tool transitions the distal portion of the outer sleeve between a straight profile and a deflected profile.

摘要: A modular endoscope system comprises a first modular section comprising imaging and illumination units, and a patient-insertable second modular section that can be detached to the first modular section via an attachment mechanism, wherein the first modular section is positionable at a distal end section of the second modular section and is configured to illuminate and image a portion of a patient anatomy. A method of using a modular endoscopy system comprises attaching a first modular section of the modular endoscopy system to a second modular section of the modular endoscopy system, positioning at least a portion of the modular endoscopy system within a patient, illuminating and imaging a portion of a patient anatomy via the first modular section, removing the modular endoscopy system from the patient, and detaching the second modular section from the first modular section after removal of the modular endoscopy system from the patient.

摘要: A locator device and system with an expandable element facilitating imaging of the locator device at a target site at a first anatomical location within a patient from a remote second anatomical location within the patient. The locator device may be formed of a material capable of being imaged from the remote second anatomical location. The locator device may be expandable to contact the interior of the anatomical structure at the first anatomical location to facilitate deployment and to resist movement with respect thereto. The locator device may be separable from the delivery system used to deliver the locator device and left in place at the target site. The locator device may expand the anatomical structure at the first anatomical location to facilitate imaging of such structure from the remote second anatomical structure. In some instances, the locator device may be returned to the delivery configuration and removed from the target site.

摘要: In summary, to simplify operation of a medical image acquisition system, it is proposed that the image acquisition system continuously monitors a current image acquisition situation and assigns at least one new function to at least one, preferably manual, operating element, which is adapted to a detected new image acquisition situation, in response to a change in the image acquisition situation, to the extent that said newly assigned function is adjustable and/or operable with the at least one operating element. To this end, the image acquisition system can detect the change in the image acquisition situation using predefined parameters by means of sensors and/or through communication with peripheral units and/or preferably through image analysis of an image sequence which is recorded with an image sensor of the image acquisition system.

摘要: A drape for an input control console of an elongate device may comprise a main drape section configured to fit over the input control console via a main opening at one end of the main drape section. The drape may also comprise a plurality of pockets. Each of the plurality of pockets may include a pocket opening that is attached to a respective secondary opening in the main drape section. Each of the plurality of pockets may be configured to be anchored, at the pocket opening, to a side surface of a respective raised ring or bezel on the input control console using a respective tightening element.
