Abstract:
An injector system which is in particular used as an injector block for fuel injection systems of mixture-compressing, spark-ignited internal combustion engines includes a fuel distribution rail, a counter bracket, a first injector, and at least one second injector. Here, the counter bracket has a first connecting piece and a second connecting piece. The first injector is joined to the counter bracket on an input side of the first connecting piece with the aid of an elastic sealing ring. The second injector is joined to the counter bracket on an input side of the second connecting piece with the aid of an elastic sealing ring. In this case, the counter bracket is connected to the fuel distribution rail. The fuel distribution rail is used for distributing compressed natural gas to the injectors. The injector system has a compact design.
Abstract:
An afterburner device and a method for operating an afterburner device, especially for chemical reformers for obtaining hydrogen, for making heat available from fuels and/or residual gases from a reforming process and/or a fuel cell process. In this context, heat is supplied in a controlled manner from recirculated combustion gases to a first housing and/or a combustion chamber situated in it and at least in part filled with heat resistant, open-pored foamed ceramics. The regulation takes place, for instance, based on a temperature recorded in the combustion chamber using an infrared light measurement.
Abstract:
A dosing device for liquid fuels, in particular for input into a chemical reformer in order to recover hydrogen or into a post-combustion device in order to generate heat, includes at least one metering device for metering fuel into a metering conduit and a nozzle body, adjoining the metering conduit, includes at least one spray discharge opening which opens into a metering chamber, including a nozzle body having a perforated spray insert in which at least one spray discharge opening is disposed.
Abstract:
A valve for controlling a fluid, in particular for controlling a gas. The valve includes a valve housing having a housing sleeve and an electromagnetic actuator for an armature which is guided in an axially displaceable manner and which cooperates with a valve seat situated on a seating plate so that a fluid flow through outflow orifices in the seating plate is controllable. The armature is guided along an armature sleeve which is situated in the housing sleeve.
Abstract:
An atomizer nozzle (1) for fuels, in particular for feeding them into a chemical reformer for obtaining hydrogen, has a nozzle body (2) containing spray-discharge orifices (3) that discharge into a metering space, and has at least one metering aperture (6). The spray-discharge orifices (3) are situated at elevation levels (4) so as to have a radial directional component with respect to a center line (10) of the nozzle body (2), each elevation step having at least one spray-discharge orifice (3), and the spray-discharge orifices (3) of at least one elevation level (4) being connected to at least one channel (14) of a nozzle-body insert (5) that has at least one flow-through opening (11).
Abstract:
An afterburner, in particular for chemical reformers intended to procure hydrogen, for afterburning residual gases from a reforming and/or fuel cell process has at least one nozzle for metering fuel and combustible residual gases into a combustion chamber and at least one air supply. The combustion chamber is at least partially filled with a heat-resistant, open-pore ceramic foam.

Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a first embedding system (10) having a first envelope (12) which is made from a first envelope skin (12A) filled with a first envelope compressionable filling (12B). The first envelope skin (12A) is abrasion resistant and has properties of being permeable on the outside and non-permeable on the inside which allows a user to press an object into the first envelope compressionable filling (12B) forming an impression therein. The user thereafter sprays a catalyst onto the first envelope skin (12A) which reacts with the first envelope compressionable filling (12B) forming a permanent impression of the object within which the object is safely stored.
Abstract:
A system for mounting a series of decorative panels onto the outer surface of a building includes four basic elements, a baseplate, a cover plate and two panel edge brackets. The baseplate has a generally centrally-disposed wall portion securable to the outer surface of a building and the cover plate is mountable on the baseplate to cover the centrally-disposed portion. The cover plate has an outer surface which defines a base wall of a caulkless joint. Each of the panel edge brackets has a panel wall securable to an edge of a decorative panel. Male-female locking elements are associated with the base and cover plates for clamping the panel edge brackets to either the baseplate or the cover plate so that the panel walls of the panel edge brackets are generally normally disposed to, and abut, the outer surface of the cover plate. As a result, the panel walls define the joint sidewalls of the caulkless joint.
Abstract:
A fuel injector for injecting water, in particular into the gas flow of fuel cells, has a valve needle having joined to its spray-discharge end a valve-closure member, which cooperates with a valve-seat surface formed on a valve-closure member a sealing seat. A spray-discharge orifice is provided downstream from the sealing seat, at least a portion of the surfaces of the fuel injector that come into contact with water being coated by a corrosion-inhibiting and/or friction-reducing coating.
