    Abstract: A tactical chemical detector may include a light array comprising a plurality of light sources; a sensor optic comprising a plurality of optic elements, each optic element in optical communication with one of the plurality of light sources; a sensor array comprising a plurality of sensors arranged on a substrate, each sensor in optical communication with one of the plurality of light sources and wherein at least one vent opening extends through the substrate; a power source configured to selectively provide power the light array and the sensor array; and a housing having a first side and a second side and enclosing the light array, the sensor optic, the sensor array, and the power source.

    Abstract: A rearview mirror for a vehicle includes a substrate having a reflective surface thereon and an actuation mechanism coupled within the substrate. The actuation mechanism includes a socket plate rotatably coupled within the cavity of the housing at a first end thereof and extending to a second end and a link element rotatably coupled within the cavity of the housing adjacent the second end of the socket and engaged with the socket plate to rotate the socket plate about the first end by rotation of the link element. The actuation mechanism further includes a clutch plate rigidly coupled with the link element about an axis thereof and an input element positioned on, rotatable about, and slideable along the axis of the link element. The input element releasably engages the clutch plate under a force applied thereto along the axis.

    Abstract: A disinfection system is disclosed. The disinfection system comprises a light source, a first sensor, and a controller. The light source is configured to emit germicidal light in a vehicle interior. The first sensor is operable to detect the presence of at least one of bacteria, viruses, dirt, and grime. The controller is configured to selectively at least one of activate, project, and steer light emissions from the light source based at least in part on sensor data. Optionally, vehicle interior disinfection system may further comprise a second sensor. The second sensor may be operable to capture occupant data. Further, the controller may be further operable to determine if the vehicle interior is occupied.
