    Abstract: Example communication methods and apparatus are described. One example method includes sending one or more configuration indications by a first station. One configuration indication in the one or more configuration indications corresponds to one second station in one or more second stations. The configuration indication includes an identifier of the second station and a transmit beam indication, and the transmit beam indication is used to indicate a transmit beam used by the second station to send data. The second station receiving the configuration indication sends the data to the first station through the transmit beam indicated by the transmit beam indication. According to the embodiments of this application, the first station can control the second station to perform data transmission.

    Abstract: This application provides a data communications method and apparatus. The method includes: A first STA receives time adjustment information, where the time adjustment information is used to indicate a sending moment at which a signal is sent by using each of at least two beams. The first STA may send data at a corresponding sending moment based on the time adjustment information by using a corresponding beam. In this way, an AP can simultaneously receive data sent by at least one station by using the at least two beams. This ensures data validity and improves data communication efficiency.

    Abstract: A channel selection method and a transmit end are provided. The method includes: ranking multiple channels, and generating a backoff count value; sequentially decrementing, from an initial timeslot, the backoff count value in each timeslot according to a ranking sequence of the channels and busy/idle states of all the channels until the backoff count value is 0; and selecting, from the multiple channels according to a result of the decrement performed on the backoff count value and a busy/idle state of at least one of the multiple channels, a channel that is used by the transmit end for sending data. The method and the transmit end can improve channel utilization.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for indicating a channel in a wireless local area network WLAN. A sending station generates and sends a physical protocol data unit PPDU, the PPDU includes a preamble field and a data field, a high efficiency signal field HE-SIG-A of the preamble field includes a bandwidth identifier and a channel bonding identifier, and the channel bonding identifier is used to indicate whether a data transmission channel is continuous in a frequency domain. In the foregoing manner, a discontinuous channel in a frequency domain in a wireless local area network is indicated, an available channel for data transmission is improved, and a system throughput is increased.
