Abstract: A channel state information sending method, a channel state information receiving method, and a device are disclosed, to reduce resource overheads required when a terminal device feeds back CSI to a network device in a scenario of a high precision codebook-based precoding matrix. The method includes: determining, by a terminal device, a precoding matrix W; sending, by the terminal device, a signal including CSI to a network device; obtaining, by the network device, an RI and indication information based on the signal including the CSI; obtaining, by the network device, a PMI2 based on the RI and the indication information; and determining, by the network device, the precoding matrix W based on the rank indicator RI and the second precoding matrix indicator PMI2.

Abstract: This application provides a data transmission method, a terminal device, and a network device. The method includes: determining, by a terminal device, reference information; and sending, by the terminal device, second channel state information (CSI) based on a comparison result of the reference information and a status parameter, where the second CSI includes all parameters in first CSI or includes some parameters in the first CSI, the first CSI is CSI that needs to be reported and that is configured by a network device for the terminal device, and the status parameter includes at least one of a transmission parameter of uplink data, a parameter in the first CSI, and a transmission parameter of the first CSI. The data transmission method, the terminal device, and the network device in embodiments of this application help improve transmission performance of CSI.

Abstract: An embodiment method, by a user equipment (UE), includes performing a channel measurement (CM) on a first subset of a set of non-zero-power (NZP) CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) resources and an interference measurement (IM) on at least a second subset of the set of NZP CSI-RS resources. The second subset includes one or more NZP CSI-RS ports. The IM is performed according to assumptions: each NZP CSI-RS port in the second subset corresponds to an interference transmission layer, the IM being in accordance with a set of energy per resource element ratios each associated with one NZP CSI-RS resource in the second subset; and other interference not associated with the interference transmission layers is on the first and second subsets. The method includes generating a channel state information (CSI) report based on the CM and IM and transmitting the CSI report to a network.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a precoding matrix indication method, a communications apparatus, and a storage medium. A precoding matrix of each of K frequency-domain units satisfies W=W1×W2, and elements in W2 in the K frequency-domain units are represented by P elements that are relatively few. A terminal device reports third indication information, where the third indication information includes first indication information and the second indication information, and the first indication information and the second indication information are independently encoded. The first indication information is used to indicate the P elements, and the second indication information is used to indicate P. Therefore, the terminal device can adjust a quantity of information bits of the second indication information based on a channel condition change, thereby improving precoding matrix reporting efficiency.

Abstract: The present disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for transmitting channel state information. A terminal device receives a reference signal from a network device, obtains a precoding matrix based on the reference signal. The terminal device determines first amplitude information and second amplitude information of the precoding matrix. The first amplitude information is used to indicate amplitude quantization information of a wideband, and the second amplitude information is used to indicate amplitude quantization information of N subbands of the wideband. The terminal device sends the first amplitude information and the second amplitude information to the network device.
