摘要： A semiconductor device includes a silicon-on-insulator substrate having a supporting substrate, an electrically insulating layer on the supporting substrate, and a semiconductor layer on the insulating layer. The semiconductor layer includes element regions for providing semiconductor elements and an isolation region located around the element region and extending to the insulating layer. The element regions are electrically isolated from each other by the isolation region. The semiconductor device further includes a thermal conductor disposed in the isolation region of the semiconductor layer and extending from a front side to a back side of the silicon-on-insulator substrate by penetrating through the insulating layer and the supporting substrate.

摘要： Provided is a surface modification process in which the mixture molar ratio of air/hydrocarbon gas in a fuel gas including a reforming agent modifying compound containing a silane molecule silicon atom, titanium atom or aluminum atom, air and a hydrocarbon gas is set to a value in valu within a predetermined range, whereby a predetermined surface modification effect can be stably obtained for a solid material, regardless of differences of boiling points of reforming agent modifying compounds, environmental conditions of the surroundings, and the like. For this end, a flame produced from of the fuel gas, in which the mixture molar ratio of air/hydrocarbon gas is adjusted to 23 or more, together with a predetermined reforming agent modifying compound, is blown against toward the surface of a solid material by means of a surface modification apparatus.
