    摘要: In a display control device, a direction of a light source in a region around a self-vehicle is estimated, and whether the direction of the light source coincides with a display arrangement direction which indicates an arrangement direction of a display portion as viewed from a passenger in the self-vehicle is determined. Then, a brightness of the display portion is set to be increased when the direction of the light source coincides with the display arrangement direction, compared with when the direction of the light source does not coincide with the display arrangement direction. Therefore, the brightness of the display portion can be more accurately controlled such that the display portion is easily viewed by the passenger in the self-vehicle.

    摘要: It is an object of this invention to provide a solid polymer fuel cell using alcohol fuel which is capable of controlling fuel supply with a simple configuration and realizing excellent power generation characteristics and storage characteristics. The fuel cell of this invention includes a power generation portion (2) at least having a fuel electrode (8+9), an oxygen electrode (11+12) and a solid polymer electrolyte membrane (10) interposed therebetween, and a fuel storage portion (1) for storing fuel. The power generation portion is provided, on the fuel electrode side, with a first opening member (6a) having an opening (6b), and the fuel storage portion is provided with a second opening member (5a) having an opening (5b). The fuel cell further includes a container portion for containing the fuel storage portion. The container portion contains the fuel storage portion such that the fuel storage portion is attachable to and detachable from the power generation portion, while the opening of the first opening member and the opening of the second opening member are positioned so as to be communicable with each other.

    摘要: A solid polymer fuel cell that utilizes liquid fuel such as methanol should prevent generated water from residing in a ventilation port close to an anode, to thereby suppress degradation of a MEA. The fuel cell includes an anode, an anode-side collecting electrode, a sealing material located along a perimeter of a solid polymer electrolytic membrane and interleaved between the electrolytic membrane and the anode-side collecting electrode, and a discharging device that discharges a product generated through electric reaction on the anode. The sealing material is provided in a frame-shape around the anode. The discharging device is a ventilation port formed on the sealing material, and a water repellent material is provided at least one of inside the ventilation port and between the ventilation port and the anode.
