摘要： An optical deflector for deflecting a laser beam from a laser by rotating a polygon mirror uses a dynamic pressure pneumatic bearing as a radial bearing and a magnetic bearing as a thrust bearing. The deflector includes a hollow rotor rotatable integrally with the mirror, a stationary shaft received in said hollow rotor, a casing member accommodating the rotor and stationary shaft, and an annular rotor magnet assembly mounted on the outer periphery of the rotor. A first rotary magnet is mounted in an upper end portion of a rotary shaft and a first stationary magnet in an upper end portion of the stationary shaft in such a manner as to face each other with the same polarity, a repulsive force acting between the two magnets serving as a thrust magnetic bearing. A second stationary magnet is arranged to face the first rotary magnet with the same polarity. Further, a second rotary magnet is mounted in a lower end portion of the rotary shaft and a third stationary magnet in a lower end portion of the stationary shaft in such a manner as to face each other with the same polarity.

The image forming apparatus has a receiving part for receiving operation input information on an operation input into an operation screen from the external terminal, a specifying part for specifying a first program to which an execution instruction is given through the operation screen on the basis of the operation input information, a determination part for determining a second program having the same function as that of the first program as an execution object program on the condition that the second program is installed in the external terminal, and a notification part for notifying the external terminal that the second program is determined as the execution object program. The external terminal executes a processing in accordance with the second program and displays a result of the processing executed in accordance with the second program.

The plurality of first electrical contact groups are detachably attached to a plurality of second electrical contact groups electrically connected with the driving circuit substrate, such that adjacent first electrical contact groups do not overlap each other in the disposed direction and in a direction orthogonal to the disposed direction.

摘要： An ink jet recording apparatus comprises a recording head including a discharge port for discharging ink, a first liquid chamber at the upstream side in the direction of ink flow toward the discharge port, and a second liquid chamber at the downstream side, an ink tank for containing ink to be supplied to the recording head, an ink supply tube for causing the ink tank to communicate with the recording head, a shut-off valve provided in the ink supply tube and opening or closing the ink supply tube, a cap for covering the discharge port; and a suction pump for forcedly discharging the ink in the recording head from the discharge port when the cap covers the discharge port. The shut-off valve is opened when the first and second liquid chambers are reduced to respectively desired pressures by the suction pump in a state where the cap covers the discharge port and the shut-off valve is closed, whereby the ink in the ink tank is supplied through the ink supply tube to the first and second liquid chambers.

摘要： The present invention discloses an elastic transformable body for adjusting vapor pressure, a vapor pressure adjustment chamber using the same, an ink-jet recording head having a vapor pressure adjustment device and an ink-jet recording device having the recording head, and more particularly to a vapor pressure adjustment device for adjusting negative pressure generated in a liquid chamber in an ink-jet recording head when discharging ink. The pressure adjustment chamber has at least one elastic transformation body having a changeable volume according to vapor pressure to adjust the vapor pressure in a container communicated thereto and a support for supporting the elastic transformation body to the container. In the pressure adjustment chamber, the elastic transformation body includes an approximately circular opening and two surfaces approximately flat before transformation at an outer circumference, in which the two surfaces have a shape extended through a curved portion at a front end opposite to the opening.

摘要： In a liquid ejecting apparatus in which ink is supplied from an ink tank to a print cartridge detachably mounted on a carriage through a tube, connection between an ink needle at a tube side and an interconnecting member at a cartridge side can sealingly be effected positively, and ink supplying and connecting means can be made compact. A closing film having a small hole and a central slit is provided at a tip end of an interconnecting member made of soft material and fitted into an ink flow-in projection portion of the print cartridge into which an ink needle is inserted. Further, a notched needle tip end avoiding configuration is provided at a lower part of a tip end of the projection portion so that abutment between the projection portion and the ink needle can be avoided when the print cartridge is mounted and dismounted, thereby reducing a shifting amount of a needle holding member.
