    摘要: An object is to provide a novel driving method of a light-emitting element, particularly, an organic EL element. Another object is to provide a light-emitting device having a light-emitting element for which the driving method is employed and an electronic device having the light-emitting device as a display portion. A light-emitting device is provided, which includes: a pixel portion having a light-emitting element; a control switch connected to the pixel portion; and a sensor portion connected to the control switch. The control switch includes a unit configured to determine whether the light-emitting element emits light depending on an ambient temperature that is sensed by the sensor portion.
