Abstract:
An image processing system and method for copying an original document while maintaining the security of the document and for providing a high quality copy each time a copy is required. The system and method include inputting image information, generating output limitation information corresponding to the inputted image information, storing the inputted image information and the corresponding output limitation information, reading a document containing specifying information for specifying the stored image information, outputting the stored specified image information in accordance with reading of the specifying information, determining whether the image information specified by reading the specifying information is to be output based on the output limitation information corresponding to the image information, controlling the outputting of the image information in accordance with the determination, and varying the output limitation information corresponding to the image information in accordance with outputting of the image information.
Abstract:
In order to efficiently utilize a bus system, when a new job occurs, the preferences assigned to jobs is determined in accordance with the volumes of the data remaining for unprocessed jobs, and the job that has been determined to have the highest preference is permitted to use the bus. In addition, when a new job occurs, for unprocessed jobs, job preferences are determined in accordance with a necessary channel count x necessary cycle count value, and a job that is determined to have the highest preference is permitted to use the bus. Furthermore, the nodes are managed so as to specify the order in which the bus can be obtained, and the node that used the bus the latest is permitted to use the bus.

Abstract:
A lead frame used for a resin-sealed semiconductor device includes a die-mount portion on which a semiconductor chip rests; and a plurality of leads arranged along a common portion of the lead frame. The plurality of leads include at least one adjusting lead, and the adjusting lead has a length that is less than the others of the plurality of leads such that a tip of the adjusting lead is sufficiently proximate to an outer peripheral surface of a resin-seal body to prevent resin flash during a formation of the semiconductor device and to allow the adjusting lead to be removed after the resin-seal body is formed over a portion of the lead frame.
Abstract:
A control method for controlling an image processing apparatus capable of transmitting image data using any one of a plurality of communication protocols includes holding, in a holding unit, management information for managing a destination of image data to be transmitted and a communication protocol associated with the destination, displaying one or more destination candidates according to a character string entered by a user and the management information held in the holding unit, determining, in a case where a destination is selected from the one or more displayed destination candidates, a communication protocol associated with the selected destination according to the management information held in the holding unit, and transmitting the image data to the selected destination via the determined communication protocol.
Abstract:
An image processing apparatus capable of recording user information into an external recording medium, while preventing an occurrence of a security problem. The image processing apparatus generates user information about an image processing job, and determines according to predetermined recording medium categories whether security information can be stored into an external recording medium in a case where the user information is recorded into the external recording medium. When determining that the security information cannot be stored into the external recording medium, the image processing apparatus removes predetermined security information from the user information and records the resultant information into the external recording medium.
Abstract:
Input raster image data is divided into objects of each attribute. The division results, and charge information representing a consideration accrued from a vectorized process for the division results are displayed. It is designated whether to execute the vectorized process for the displayed division results. The vectorized process of converting the raster image data into vector data is executed on the basis of the contents of the designation.
Abstract:
This invention provides an image processing system and image processing method which allow a user to easily confirm conversion result information when image information is converted into vector data. Image information input from an input device (113) is vectorized by a data processing device (115). Vector data which has successfully been vectorized is converted into image data. The input image information and the converted image data are combined to generate and output combined image data.

Abstract:
There are provided an image processing system and image processing method which can appropriately set whether to convert an original paper document into re-usable vector data before obtaining vector data from the paper document. An image scanning unit (110) scans a document to obtain image information, and a storage device (111) stores the image information. A data processing device (115) detects control information appended to the document from the image information and determines whether vectorization of the image information is permitted or inhibited. If the data processing device (115) determines that vectorization is permitted, it converts the image information into vector data; otherwise, it directly stores the image information in the storage device (111).
