    Abstract: Embodiments provide a Polar code transmission method and apparatus. A bit sequence is encoded into a code sequence using Polar code by a network device. The bit sequence contains a control signaling and a Cyclic Redundancy Code (CRC) sequence. The code sequence is transformed into M copies such that an ith information copy of the M copies multiples by a first matrix of the power of (i−1). M is an integer and M>0. M copies of codeword was encoded by Polar code, the M copies implicitly conveys different time stamp information, which is suitable for the transmission of PBCH in 5G communication system, signaling overhead is also reduced.

    Abstract: A method to explicitly indicate the version information while still supporting soft combining is disclosed. A polar code encoder maps q bits to q positions of q sub-channels, q is a positive integer; wherein the q bits are used to indicate a version of encoded codeword; map 1 to a special frozen bit corresponding to the q bits; map K−q information bits to K−q positions for the K−q information bits, K is an integer, K>q; and perform polar encoding over an input vector u0N−1, comprising the q bits, the special frozen bit and the K−q information bits, with the length of N, N is an integer, N>=K. With this method, there is no need to make blind detection to achieve the version information of transmitted payload, which reduces power consumption for a receiver.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a communication method and a communications apparatus. In the communication method, a network-side device determines a resource configuration policy. The network-side device determines an operation mode of a terminal based on the resource configuration policy; broadcasts information about a plurality of configured resource pools and the operation mode, so that the terminal performs sending based on the configured one or more resource pools; and determines, based on the operation mode, that the terminal sends information on one or more resource units of the plurality of resource pools. According to the communication method and the communications apparatus provided in the specific embodiments of the present invention, the one or more resource pools are configured for a plurality of carriers for inter-terminal communication, so that the terminal can send a message on the one or more resource pools of the plurality of carriers.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for determining a transmission rate supported by a data stream, user equipment, and a base station. The method includes: determining, by user equipment UE, a first index corresponding to an average transmission rate supported by a channel between the UE and the base station; determining, by the UE, a second index corresponding to a difference between an instantaneous transmission rate supported by a data stream on the channel and an average transmission rate supported by the data stream on the channel; sending, by the UE, the first index to the base station; and sending, by the UE, the second index to the base station. According to the embodiments of the present invention, the instantaneous transmission rate supported by the data stream on the channel can be relatively accurately fed back to the base station, thereby improving channel resource utilization.

A specific solution is: obtaining, by a first device, grouping information, where the grouping information is used to indicate information of grouping N PRBs into M PRB groups; performing modulation and coding by using a TBS that corresponds to each of the M PRB groups, to generate modulation symbols; and transmitting data to a second device by using a physical resource that corresponds to the N PRBs. The foregoing solution is used for data transmission in a wireless network.

The method includes: obtaining, by first user equipment, time resource grouping information, where the time resource grouping information includes physical resource numbers of physical resources in N time resource groups, and N is a positive integer; sending, by the first user equipment, an indication signal, where the indication signal indicates one or more physical resource numbers; determining, by the first user equipment according to the time resource grouping information and the one or more physical resource numbers indicated by the indication signal, time resources occupied by a data signal in the N time resource groups; and sending, by the first user equipment, the data signal by using the time resources occupied by the data signal in the N time resource groups. In the embodiments of the present invention, energy consumption of a receive end can be reduced.
