A method for realizing video live broadcast, includes: receiving a request for creating conversation from a user equipment, the request carrying indication information for identifying video live broadcast BTV service packet, the BTV packet includes several channel program with the same authorization attribute and the same accounting attribute; sending BTV service control information corresponding to BTV service packet to a network marginal equipment corresponding to the user equipment UE; creating the conversation between a IPTV server and the user equipment UE according to the request; sending the channel program that the UE need access to the UE according to the BTV service control information. Corresponding equipment and system also are provided. The invention can ensure flexible authorization and accounting capability, meanwhile it also ensure the user can switch channel quickly according to the present invention.

The present invention provides an access method and system of a customer premise equipment, and a broadband network gateway. The access method of a customer premise equipment includes: receiving, by a BNG in a BNG pool, an access request packet sent by a CPE, where the access request packet carries an identifier of a CPE group to which the CPE belongs; and obtaining, by the BNG, an access policy of the CPE group according to the identifier of the CPE group, and performing access control on the CPE according to the access policy. Through the present invention, a BNG in a BNG pool is enabled to provide an access service for a CPE according to an access policy, so that when a BNG in a BNG pool is faulty, a BNG that is not faulty in the BNG pool can provide an access service for a CPE originally accessing the faulty BNG, thereby improving the reliability of the entire network.

A network flow measurement method is applicable to a system including a network measurement device and a control plane device. The network flow measurement method includes measuring, by the network measurement device, first data, where the first data includes a first-type data structure, the first-type data structure includes first measurement information of a flow, and the first measurement information corresponds to a bit of a keyword of the flow, and sending, by the network measurement device, the first data to the control plane device.

This application discloses a multicast forwarding method and a multicast router. The method includes: listening to, by a first multicast router, a plurality of unicast packets passing through the first multicast router, and determining a set of unicast packets that are from a same upstream multicast router and that belong to a same unicast stream; when determining that destination addresses of at least two unicast packets in the unicast packet set are different, sending, by the first multicast router, a prune message to the upstream multicast router; and sending, by the first multicast router, the received unicast packets with the multicast identifier to the destination devices corresponding to the destination address group. The method is used to provide a new multicast method, so as to implement multicast functions of some routers in an existing unicast network architecture.

An embodiment method includes: a first service atom receives a second packet sent by a central switching device, where a first service packet is encapsulated in the second packet and the second packet further includes a first service path identifier. The first service atom performs first service processing according to information in the first service packet, to obtain a first processing result. The first service atom queries a first path switching entry according to the first processing result and the first service path identifier. The first service atom sends a third packet to the central switching device, where a source device identifier of the third packet is a device identifier of the first service atom, a second service packet is encapsulated in the third packet, and the third packet includes the second service path identifier.

A method, an apparatus, and a system are provided for load balancing of a service chain. The method includes: receiving, by a flow classifier, a service chain selection and control policy sent by a policy and charging rules function PCRF unit; hashing, by the flow classifier according to a hash quantity, a service flow corresponding to a service chain identifier, to obtain multiple subflows, and adding the service chain identifier and hashing factors to packets of the subflows, where different subflows correspond to different hashing factors; and sending, by the flow classifier, the packets of the subflows after the service chain identifier and the hashing factors are added, to a forwarding device.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, device and system for carrying out a service in a network. The control apparatus comprises: an orchestrator unit, configured to receive a service request for requesting to carry out a service, wherein the service request comprises service deployment information for requesting to deploy a first service, service flow identification information for identifying a first packet flow and service flow steering information; and a control unit, configured to send the service deployment information to a computing apparatus, and send the service flow identification information and the service flow steering information to an identifying and steering apparatus. Technical solutions of the present invention provide a new service mode, which can meet developing needs of OTT applications.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and a gateway device for managing an address resource, which relate to the field of Internet technologies and can maximally reduce horizontal traffic between gateway devices, thereby improving system performance. The method in the present invention includes: sending an address delegation request message to a management gateway device in a same gateway group, where the management gateway device is configured to manage an address pool(s) or an address in an address pool; receiving a response message sent by the management gateway device, where the response message includes a delegated address, and the delegated address is an address in the address pool(s) managed by the management gateway device; acquiring the delegated address in the response message; and allocating an address in the delegated address to a user terminal in a same user group. The present invention is used for managing the address resource.
