One method may include: receiving, by a base station, a first paging message sent by a mobility management entity MME, where the first paging message includes coverage enhancement information of user equipment UE to be paged by using the first paging message; and sending, by the base station, a second paging message to the UE according to the coverage enhancement information of the UE.

The method includes: determining a first frequency resource, where the first frequency resource is a frequency resource used to send first information in an enhanced manner; determining a second frequency resource, where the second frequency resource is a frequency resource used to send second information or send second information in an enhanced manner; and when there is an overlapping frequency resource between the first frequency resource and the second frequency resource, sending, in an available subframe for sending the first information in an enhanced manner, the first information in an enhanced manner by using the first frequency resource, where the available subframe is one or more subframes other than a subframe in a subframe set for sending the second information or sending the second information in an enhanced manner.

The present disclosure provides a data transmission method and a communications device. The method includes: determining a first transmission manner of a first physical channel, where the first transmission manner is a manner in which data transmission is performed on the first physical channel; and determining a second transmission manner of a second physical channel according to the first transmission manner, where the second transmission manner is a manner in which data transmission is performed on the second physical channel. It is implemented that a transmission manner of a physical channel different from the first physical channel is determined according to the transmission manner of the first physical channel, and therefore it is implemented that different transmission manners are applied to different channels.

The present application discloses a control information sending method that includes: determining, from a preset set of patterns, a pattern as a first pattern, where the pattern comprised in the preset set of patterns is one or more patterns that are determined according to a coverage enhancement degree. The pattern determines an aggregation level that is used for transmitting control information, and determines the number of the multiple subframes, and also determines a resource indicator for a resource that is used for transmitting the control information. The pattern further determines a control information format that is used for transmitting, in each subframe of the multiple subframes, the control information. The method further includes: acquiring, according to the first pattern, the control information on a resource, to which the control information is mapped, in each subframe of the multiple subframes.

Embodiments of the present invention, relating to the communications field, disclose a paging optimization method, apparatus, and system, so as to ensure that a terminal normally receives a paging message sent by a system. A specific solution carried by an access network node is: receiving a first paging message sent by a core network node, where the first paging message is used to page a terminal; in response to the first paging message, determining a transmission parameter according to channel loss information of the terminal; and sending control information with enhanced coverage to the terminal according to the transmission parameter, wherein the control information with enhanced coverage is used to schedule a second paging message with enhanced coverage. The present invention is used in a paging optimization process.

The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and discloses a method and a device for implementing synchronization and sense between user equipments. The method includes: triggering, by a base station, a first user equipment to perform synchronization with another user equipment; receiving quality information, reported by the first user equipment, of a channel between the first user equipment and a synchronized user equipment; and determining, according to the quality information of the channel, a target user equipment that directly communicates with the first user equipment, and/or determining, according to the quality information of the channel, a radio resource which can be used by the first user equipment. By using the present invention, energy efficiency of user equipments can be improved and resource overhead of a system can be reduced, thereby ensuring direct communication between user equipments.

An information transmission method includes a step of receiving first downlink control information. The first downlink control information includes frequency hopping indication information of a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) and/or transmission mode indication information of the PUCCH, or the first downlink control information is downlink control information scrambled by a first radio network temporary identifier. The method further includes performing data transmission based on the downlink control information. Based on the first downlink control information, the terminal device can perform frequency hopping to obtain a frequency diversity gain and to improve flexibility. Also transmission may be repeated to improve transmission performance, and a frequency resource may be adjusted to achieve load balancing or obtain a frequency diversity gain.

This can implement communication between a network device and the terminal device of the first capability type. This can meet requirements of different types of terminal devices for control channels. For example, the first terminal device and the second terminal device share a first control resource set. This can ensure reliability of the first terminal device while minimizing impact on an optional resource of the second terminal device.
