Abstract: The disclosure provides example communication methods and apparatuses. One example method includes determining a highest-priority CORESET, so that a terminal device monitors a PDCCH on the highest-priority CORESET. A highest-priority CORESET is determined in M CORESETs belonging to T CORESETs based on one or more of cell identifiers, quasi co-location properties, search space set types, and search space set identifiers that are associated with the M CORESETs in a time unit, and a PDCCH is monitored on the highest-priority CORESET.

Abstract: This application provides a buffer allocation method and a device. Abstract: This application provides a PDSCH transmission method and apparatus, and relates to the field of communication technologies, to reduce complexity of processing a PDSCH by a terminal device. The method includes: The terminal device receives first DCI and second DCI. First indication information included in one piece of DCI that is in the first DCI and the second DCI and that has the first indication information indicates whether one or more time-frequency resource groups in a first PDSCH and a second PDSCH are available. In this way, there is only one type of interference strength between the first PDSCH and the second PDSCH, and the terminal device may process the first PDSCH and the second PDSCH by using a descrambling manner corresponding to the interference strength. In this case, the terminal may receive both of the first PDSCH and the second PDSCH.

Abstract: A handover method and a base station are provided. The handover method may include: when a UE needs to be handed over, obtaining bearer context information of the UE in a first base station; sending a handover request to a target base station, where the handover request carries the bearer context information; and after receiving a handover response that is returned by the target base station and indicates that the handover is agreed to, sending a handover command to the UE so that the UE is handed over to the target base station. Based on the above technical solutions, the UE handover can be implemented quickly in the case of using multiple carriers and the current service of the UE can be recovered quickly, which can improve communication experience of a user.
