Abstract:
Described herein are methods and systems for controlling a sensor assembly with a plurality of same type sensors. Sensors are operated in active and inactive states. The activation state of at least one of the sensors is changed based on an operational parameter that relates to an environmental condition differentially affecting the plurality of same type sensors.
Abstract:
A sensor may be automatically calibrated during manufacture by providing a sensor processing unit having an integrated sensor, performing a check to determine if the integrated sensor has been previously calibrated upon a reset. When it has been determined the integrated sensor has not been previously calibrated, an automated calibration pattern may be imparted to the sensor so that a calibration parameter is determined.
Abstract:
A semiconductor package with design features, including an isolation structure for internal components and a flexible electrical connection, that minimizes errors due to environmental temperature, shock, and vibration effects. The semiconductor package may include a base having a first portion surrounded by a second portion. A connector assembly may be attached to the first portion. The connector assembly may extend through an opening in the base. A lid attached may be attached to, at least, the second portion. The attached lid may form a hermetically-sealed cavity defined by an upper surface of the first portion, the connector assembly, and an inner surface of the lid. An elastomer pad may be on the first portion and a sub-assembly may be on the elastomer pad. A flexible electrical connection may be formed between the connector assembly and the sub-assembly.
Abstract:
In a method of motion sensor calibration, a motion with which to calibrate a motion sensor is determined. The motion sensor is controlled by a sensor processor and the motion sensor is comprised within a user interface that is coupled with a gaming engine. The sensor processor and the gaming engine coordinate regarding the motion. The sensor processor monitors the motion sensor for evidence of the motion made as a user input via the user interface in response to game content implemented by the gaming engine, based on the coordination, to incite the motion. The sensor processor calibrates the motion sensor with the motion.
Abstract:
A portable device is provided having a motion sensor and an engagement sensor. A determination may be made whether the portable device is engaged with the platform. The data being output by the sensor may be used accordingly.
Abstract:
A system includes a wearable device connected to a user and a smart media in remote communication with the wearable device. The wearable device is operable to track movement of the user and transmit the track movement information to the smart media. The smart media is operable to receive the track movement information and to use the received track movement information in an independent application.
