    摘要: An apparatus and method for providing closed-loop transmit antenna diversity in a mobile communication system is provided. To maximize the sum of the vectors of signals received from at least two antennas at a base station, a mobile terminal calculates the vectors of the signals received from the antennas of the base station, calculates differential vectors for the input signal vectors in order to maximize the sum of the input signal vectors, and transmits information about the calculated differential vectors to the base station, which uses them to maximize the sum of the vectors of signals subsequently received by the mobile terminal.

A first adder adds a first spread signal obtained by spreading a first symbol pattern with a first orthogonal code to a second spread signal obtained by spreading the first symbol pattern with a second orthogonal code, and transmits the added signal through a first antenna.     摘要: An apparatus randomly assigns downlink sub-frame time slots for transmitting user data in an NB-TDD CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) communication system. In the apparatus, a multiplexer creates a user data part by multiplexing user data for UEs (User Equipments), a TFCI (Transport Format Combination Indicator) symbol for the user data, and a TPC (Transmission Power Control command) symbol for controlling transmission power of a downlink channel, and a controller randomly assigns time slots for transmitting the user data part in the sub-frames, based on a time slot number initially assigned for the user data part, a sub-frame number at a transmission point of the user data part, and the number of assigned uplink time slots in the corresponding sub-frame.

    摘要: Disclosed is provided a method for switching an operation mode from a non-USTS to a USTS mode in a Node B capable of communicating with a UE in both the non-USTS mode and the USTS mode. The Node B calculates a difference value between a start point of a downlink dedicated channel frame in a downlink dedicated channel transmitted to the UE in the non-USTS mode and a start point of an uplink dedicated channel frame in an uplink dedicated channel received from the UE. The Node B determines a first control value for controlling the start point of the uplink dedicated channel frame in the uplink dedicated channel by comparing the difference value with a given reference value, and also determines a second control value such that the second control value for the start point of the downlink dedicated channel frame in the downlink dedicated channel becomes a multiple of a given number of chips. Further, the Node B informs the UE of the determined first and second control values, and then transmits a downlink dedicated channel signal such that the start point of the downlink dedicated channel frame becomes a start point determined based on the second control value.
