Abstract:
A disk drive including a tray and an opener. The tray includes a disk cartridge mounted thereon and is loaded into and unloaded from a main body. The opener is installed in the main body and elastically contacts a guide formed on the tray. The opener includes a second gear and a first protrusion. The second gear rotates a rotating wheel when in contact with a first gear. The first protrusion formed on a first end of the second gear temporarily rotates the rotating wheel so that the first and second gears can mesh. The guide has a first cam that moves the opener such that the first protrusion does not interfere with the latch when the tray is loaded/unloaded.
Abstract:
A laser scanning unit (LSU) in a structure capable of radiating heat generated by a light source. The LSU includes at least one light source, a driving source for providing rotational force, and a deflection disk installed on a rotary shaft of the driving source, for diffracting and deflecting light incident from the light sources. The deflection disk has at least one radiating portion which is depressed in and/or protrudes from the surface of the deflection disk facing the light source and induces air flow by contact with air, such that the heat generated by the light sources is radiated by the air flow induced due to the radiating portion.
Abstract:
A frame structure of a printing apparatus is provided with a main frame having a developer unit and a paper supply and output unit, a subframe installed in the main frame, having a printing unit, and a damping member installed between the main frame and the subframe, for absorbing vibration which would otherwise be transferred from the main frame to the subframe. Thus, the damping member can prevent the vibration generated by the developer unit or the paper supply and output unit from being transferred to the printing unit.
Abstract:
A reel table moving mechanism selectively receives tape cassettes having different sizes. The mechanism includes a deck member in which a head drum and a tape guiding unit are installed and having first and second openings formed to be spaced from each other, each having a predetermined length. A pair of reel tables, operative to move along the first and second openings, selectively receive first and second tape cassettes of a different size. Each reel table has a stopper for locking a pair of reels and a releasing lever for releasing the stopper. A pair of first and second reel bases on which the reel tables are mounted are slidably supported to the deck member. First and second shafts are supported by a supporting mechanism at one side of each of the first and second openings and are slidably connected to the first and second bases. A mechanism moves the first and second reel bases, and first and second releasing devices release each releasing lever of the first and second tape cassettes from being locked. According to the above mechanism, the structure is simplified, and the reel table can be stably maintained.
Abstract:
A disk player has a tray capable of moving in and out of a player body. A driving unit moves the tray. A lift unit selectively engages or disengages the driving unit and raises a turntable receiving a disk loaded by the tray thereon. A spindle motor rotates the turntable. A damping unit reduces loads and impacts during movement of the lift unit.
Abstract:
A disk cartridge includes a case accommodating a disk, a cover installed at the case to be capable of being open and shut and having a hole formed thereon to be open to an outside of the cover, a shutter installed under the disk in the case to be capable of moving to open and shut an opening formed on the case, and a clamping member installed at the cover to seal the hole to clamp the disk. Thus, since the clamping member blocks the hole of the cover connected to the outside of the cover, possibility of intrusion of dust into the disk cartridge is reduced. Also, since there is no need to install the clamping member at the disk drive, the disk drive can be made simplified and slim.
Abstract:
A disk drive including a tray on which a disk cartridge is mounted and is loaded into and unloaded from a main body; a guide formed on the tray; and an opening and closing member installed to be elastically connected to the guide. The opening and closing member has a second gear that rotates a rotating wheel by meshing with a first gear; and a first protrusion formed on one end of a second gear and to temporarily rotate the rotating wheel so that the first and second gears can mesh. The guide pushes the first protrusion during loading/unloading of the tray so that the first protrusion and the latch do not come in contact with each other.
Abstract:
A disk cartridge includes a case to accommodate a disk, and a shutter installed in the case to move under the disk, and to selectively open/shut an opening hole formed in the case. The disk cartridge includes a support portion to protrude from the shutter to support a non-information area of the disk. Thus, since the shutter contacts only the non-information area of the disk, the information area of the disk is protected during an operation of the shutter to open and shut the opening hole.
Abstract:
A disk cartridge includes a lower case having an opening formed thereon, an upper case installed at the lower case to be capable of being open and shut while pivoting, to accommodate a disk therebetween, a shutter installed at the lower case to be capable of sliding and opening and shutting the opening hole, a close covering member having an inclined surface installed at the shutter to be capable of sliding, closely contacting a non-information area disposed at an inner circumference of the disk when the shutter is closed, and being separated from the non-information area disposed at the inner circumference of the disk when the shutter is open. Thus, when the shutter is closed, introduction of dust is prevented so that the possibility of the information area of the disk being contaminated is lowered. Also, since the disk is fixed between the upper and lower cases, while the disk is carried, noise and damage can be reduced.
Abstract:
A disc clamping apparatus includes an upper clamper holder, a lower clamper holder which is combined with the upper clamper holder, a clamper which is movably installed between the upper clamper holder and the lower clamper holder and clamps a disc that is disposed on a turntable, a first magnetic member installed between the upper clamper holder and the lower clamper holder, a second magnetic member installed on the turntable to face the first magnetic member so that a magnetic force operates between the first magnetic member and the second magnetic member to clamp the disc and an elastic member disposed between the upper clamper holder and the clamper so as to provide an elastic force to push the clamper against the disc. The disc clamping apparatus clamps discs having various thicknesses. Also, a clamping force of the disc clamping apparatus is changed in proportion to the thickness of the disc, and thus a proper clamping force can be applied to the disc based on the thickness of the disc.
