摘要: A computer implemented method includes providing a first set of digital data corresponding to an upper arch image of at least a portion of an upper dental arch of a patient, providing a second set of digital data corresponding to a lower arch image of at least a portion of a lower dental arch of the patient, providing bite alignment data representative of the spatial relationship between the upper dental arch and the lower dental arch of the patient, and aligning the upper and lower arch images relative to one another based on the bite alignment data until an aligned upper and lower arch image is attained. The aligned upper and lower arch images are moved towards each other until a first contact point is detected and at least one of the upper and lower arch images is moved relative to the other in one or more directions to a plurality of positions for determining optimal occlusion position of the lower and upper dental arches.

摘要: A system includes a server and a controller embedded in a device. Both the server and the embedded controller are capable of communicating over a computer network. The embedded controller sends a command to the server over the computer network that identifies an instance of the device. In response, the server identifies the instance of the device based on the command, retrieves data that is specific to the instance of the device, and send the data to the embedded controller over the computer network.

摘要: Methods are provided for loading polymeric regions of medical devices with therapeutic agents. In these methods, a polymeric region of a medical device is first pretreated with a solvent system. Subsequently, therapeutic-agent-containing particles are impacted into the pretreated polymeric region at a velocity that is effective to at least partially embed the particles within the pretreated polymeric region. The pretreatment step parameters (e.g., the particular solvent system employed, amount of time that the solvent system contacts the polymeric region, etc.) are typically selected such that the surface tack of the polymeric region is increased. Consequently, the depth, the amount, or both the depth and the amount of the particles that become at least partially embedded in the polymeric region is/are typically increased, relative to what would be achieved in the absence of the pretreatment step. Also provided are medical devices made by such methods.

摘要: A shock absorber of a monotube type utilizes a mechanically fixed base valve to regulate oil flow between the compression and compensation chambers, and a compressible bladder in the compensation chamber to allow volume compensation, which, together, eliminate the need for pressurized gas and a floating piston found in conventionally known monotube dampers.

摘要: Embodiments of the invention include testing arrangements for detecting proper DC-coupled board connections on the input legs of a differential receiver. The testing implementation includes a first test receiver AC-coupled to the connection between the first input/output (I/O) pad and the differential receiver positive input and/or a second test receiver coupled to the connection between the second I/O pad and the differential receiver negative input. The test receiver protects the test receiver input from DC voltages applied to the differential receiver via the differential receiver input. Also, the test receiver includes a high-pass filter arrangement that generates data capable of detecting whether the I/O pad connected to the test receiver has a proper DC-coupled connection or an improper connection when presented with a stimulus pulse. The test receiver is less susceptible to noise because than conventional arrangements that use a low-pass RC filter.

摘要: A garment hanger comprising a body, a hook member and a first and second clamp assembly. The body includes a beam member, a first end and a second end. The beam member has an upper flange and a lower flange spaced apart from the upper flange. Additionally, a first web portion extends from and is oblique to the upper flange. A second web portion extends from and is oblique to the lower flange. The two web portions intersect each other between the upper and lower flanges. The hook member is coupled to the body. The clamp members are positioned on opposing sides of the body. One or both of the clamp assemblies include a rear assembly half and a front assembly half. The two halves are pivotally coupled to each other. Each half has a garment engaging surface and a spring receiving region. The spring receiving region is configured to receive at least two spring members. At least one spring member is coupled to the spring receiving region so as to bias the garment engagement surfaces toward each other.
