摘要: In a database management system including a request reception server and a plurality of execution servers, each having a plug-in program module incorporated by a user, the request reception server analyzes a processing request from the user to determine whether or not the plurality of execution servers require currently unidentified input parameters when executing external functions in their plug-in modules, based on a definition information table created from descriptions of interface specifications for the plug-in program modules. When it is determined that the execution servers require such input parameters, an external function in the plug-in program module in the request reception server is executed to previously acquire the unidentified input parameters. The request reception server creates an execution processing procedure code, to be executed by the plurality of execution servers, assuming that the unidentified input parameters have already been inputted, and passes the execution processing procedure code together with the input parameters acquired by the request reception server to the plurality of execution servers.

摘要: In a database management system for concurrently executing a plurality of transactions for access to a database, there is provided a user interface for defining a parent/child relationship between a plurality of pieces of data. The parent information of data is added to the data itself and to a storage location information of the data in the database. Upon access to data, lock control is performed by use of the parent information of the data, thereby performing representation of locked a object.

摘要: A temperature distribution measurement apparatus has an infrared array sensor that includes a pyroelectric substrate with infrared array receiving electrodes and electrodes for compensation formed on its front side and opposing electrodes formed on its backside. Also included is an infrared lens to focus incident infrared lights on the array sensor, a chopper to cut off the incident infrared rays intermittently and a rotating part carrying and rotating parts of the apparatus. The detector elements of the infrared array sensor are laid out vertically and parallel with one another. A horizontal temperature distribution is measured by a lateral scanning with the rotating part rotating horizontally while a vertical temperature distribution is measured by driving the chopper in front of the infrared sensor. Thus, a two dimensional temperature distribution of an empty space is measured. The number and the position of persons in the empty space attained from the temperature distribution measurement data is useful for controlling air conditioners.

摘要: A constant-rate discharge valve adapted so as to render a discharge rate constant includes a housing having an internal air chamber and an open hole open to the atmosphere, first and second air passageways each having one end open to the air chamber and communicating with each other via the air chamber, a control orifice provided in the second air passageway to control air flow rate, and a valve body disposed in the housing so as to partition the air chamber from the open hole. The valve body interrupts communication between the first and second air passageways when pressure in the air chamber is greater than a predetermined pressure and permits communication between the first and second air passageways when the pressure in the air chamber is less the predetermined pressure. An electronic automatic sphygmomanometer using this constant-rate discharge valve discharges air at a constant flow rate.

摘要: A moving state detecting section 202 determines a moving state of a share source terminal 100. A moving state detecting section 302 determines a moving state of a share destination terminal 110. An inter-terminal distance measuring section 304 detects the distance between the share source terminal 100 and the share destination terminal 110. A security process determining section 305 determines a terminal and a function on which to perform a security process, based on the moving state of each terminal and the distance between the terminals. A security process executing section 306 notifies the determined terminal to perform the security process on the determined function.

摘要: A blood reservoir (1) including a venous blood filter (40) and a cardiotomy filter (5). The cardiotomy blood filter includes a first cardiotomy blood filter member (51) and a second cardiotomy blood filter member (52). The filter member (52) is equipped with a first filter portion (52a) and a second filter portion (52b). The first filter portion (52a) forms the wall portion and the second filter portion (52b) forms the bottom portion. Specifications of the first filter portion (52a) and the second filter portion (52b) are different. A guide member (60) of the blood storage tank (1) is made of a foam material. The blood from which bubbles have been removed is guided while permeating the guide member (60). Consequently, the guide member (60) can lead the blood from which bubbles are removed to a predetermined position at a suitable liquid impact speed.
