Abstract: A building management system (BMS) includes memory devices having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by processors, cause the processors to perform operations including obtaining a BMS ontology data model defining a plurality of BMS model classes and relationships between the BMS model classes, obtaining a plurality of BMS object definitions including equipment definitions defining a plurality of different types of equipment and point definitions defining a plurality of different types of points, assigning a BMS model class selected from the plurality of BMS model classes to each of the plurality of BMS object definitions, generating a semantic site model by classifying a plurality of BMS objects associated with a building site according to the BMS object definitions and the BMS model classes assigned thereto, and controlling building equipment using the semantic site model.

Abstract: A building management system (BMS) includes building equipment, a data collector, a sample aggregator, and an application. The building equipment is operable to monitor and control a variable in the BMS and to provide raw data samples of the variable. The data collector is configured to collect the raw data samples from the building equipment and generate a raw data timeseries including a plurality of the raw data samples. The sample aggregator is configured to automatically generate a data rollup timeseries including a plurality of aggregated data samples. The aggregated data samples are generated by aggregating the raw data samples as the raw data samples are collected from the building equipment. Both timeseries are stored in a timeseries database. The application is configured to retrieve the raw data timeseries and the data rollup timeseries from the timeseries database in response to a request for timeseries data associated with the variable.

Abstract: A smart circuit breaker is configured for installation within a panel assembly. The smart circuit breaker includes a breaker device positioned between a power source and a subcircuit, the breaker device having a moveable contactor configured to change from an open state to a closed state, wherein in the closed state power flows from the power source to the subcircuit via a power line, and wherein in the open state power does not flow from the power source to the subcircuit. The widget displays a graphical visualization of the plurality of timeseries associated with the data point and includes interactive user interface options for switching between the plurality of timeseries associated with the data point.

Abstract: A method for monitoring or controlling equipment of a building includes receiving a first timeseries comprising first data samples of a first variable monitored or controlled by a system and a second timeseries comprising second data samples of a second variable monitored or controlled by the system. The first data samples are at least partially asynchronous with the second data samples. The method includes synchronizing the first timeseries with the second timeseries by aggregating both the first timeseries and the second timeseries using equivalent aggregation intervals. Aggregating the first timeseries generates a third timeseries comprising aggregated values of the first variable and aggregating the second timeseries generates a fourth timeseries comprising aggregated values of the second variable. The method includes performing an automated operation to monitor or control the equipment of the building using the synchronized data samples of the third timeseries and the fourth timeseries.
