Abstract:
An ink set includes an inkjet ink and a recording head filling liquid. The inkjet ink contains a pigment, water, and 1,2-alkanediol with a carbon number of at least 7 or 8. The recording head filling liquid contains a specific surfactant, water, and a specific alcohol compound with a carbon number of at least 10 and no greater than 12. The specific surfactant has an HLB value of no greater than 5.0. An amount of content of the specific alcohol compound in the recording head filling liquid is at least 0.1 ppm and no greater than 1.0 ppm.
Abstract:
A wash fluid for use in an inkjet recording apparatus contains water, a coconut oil fatty acid surfactant, an organic deliquescent agent, a polyhydric alcohol, and a basic inorganic compound. The polyhydric alcohol is an alkanediol. The coconut oil fatty acid surfactant is contained in an amount of at least 0.01% by mass and no greater than 3.00% by mass. The organic deliquescent agent is contained in an amount of at least 0.10% by mass and no greater than 30.00% by mass.
Abstract:
An inkjet recording apparatus includes three or more recording heads. The recording heads contain different inks and eject the different inks sequentially on a recording medium. The different inks each contain a pigment and a polyhydric alcohol monobutyl ether. Of the different inks, an ink to be ejected first has the lowest pigment content ratio. Of the different inks, an ink to be ejected third and an ink to be subsequently ejected each have a pigment content ratio equal to or higher than that of a corresponding one of inks to be precedently ejected. Of the different inks, an ink to be ejected second and an ink to be subsequently ejected each have a polyhydric alcohol monobutyl ether content ratio higher than that of a corresponding one of inks to be precedently ejected.
Abstract:
An inkjet recording apparatus includes an image forming section, a heater, a first calculation section, storage, and a second calculation section. The image forming section ejects ink onto a sheet in which first to M-th regions are defined (M is an integer of at least 2). The heater heats an n-th region of the sheet using an n-th heat source (n is an integer of at least 1 and no greater than M). The storage stores therein temperature information indicating a first heating temperature for the n-th region. The second calculation section calculates a second heating temperature for the n-th region based on the temperature information and the ink ejection amount to the n-th region calculated by the first calculation section.
Abstract:
An inkjet recording apparatus includes an image forming section, a heater, a calculation section, storage, and a determination section. The image forming section ejects ink onto a sheet in which first to M-th regions are defined (M is an integer of at least 2). The heater includes first to M-th heat sources and heats an n-th region of the sheet using an n-th heat source (n is an integer of at least 1 and no greater than M). The calculation section calculates an ink ejection rate of ink to be ejected onto the n-th region. The storage stores therein heating information indicating whether it is necessary to heat the n-th region. The determination section determines whether or not to cause the n-th heat source to generate heat.
Abstract:
An ink set includes a water-based ink and a water-based cleaning liquid. The water-based ink and the water-based cleaning liquid each contain at least 1.0% by mass and no greater than 4.0% by mass of a deliquescent agent. The water-based cleaning liquid further contains a nonionic surfactant and a diol. The deliquescent agent that the water-based ink contains and the deliquescent agent that the water-based cleaning liquid contains each include at least one of sorbitol, trimethylolpropane, and 1,3-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)-5,5-dimethylhydantoin. The nonionic surfactant has an HLB value determined by Griffin method of at least 14 and no greater than 16. The diol includes at least one of triethylene glycol and 1,3-propanediol.
Abstract:
An ink set for inkjet recording includes: a first ink containing a black dye and a polyamine; and a second ink containing a black pigment having a coat of an anionic resin. An inkjet recording method includes: ejecting a first ink containing a black dye and a polyamine onto a recording medium through an inkjet recording head; and ejecting a second ink containing a black pigment having a coat of an anionic resin onto the first ink ejected on the recording medium through an inkjet recording head.
Abstract:
An inkjet recording ink contains a polyhydric alcohol monoethyl ether or a polyhydric alcohol monopropyl ether, and a polyhydric alcohol monobutyl ether. Further, a method for producing an inkjet recording ink includes forming a pigment dispersion by kneading a pigment, an anionic resin and water, mixing the pigment dispersion with a water-soluble nonionic acrylic resin or a prepolymer thereof, triethylene glycol monobutyl ether, diethylene glycol monoethyl ether or diethylene glycol monopropyl ether, and water, and filtering a mixture resulting from the mixing.
