摘要： A television broadcast receiver can operate external recording equipment with the same feel as that of internal recording equipment so as not to extremely corrupt recorded information even when the internal recording equipment is not expected to be used because of a failure or any inconvenience thereof. Therefore, the receiver has a control unit to manage operations, a receiving unit to receive a broadcast signal, a demodulating and signal processing unit to demodulate and signal process the received signal to convert it into a display signal, and a recording unit. And the receiver further comprises a housing unit to house internal recording equipment integrated with the receiver, a connection terminal to connect external recording equipment, and a using equipment switching unit to switch for controlling the external recording equipment as the internal recording equipment in response to operations.

摘要： A composition comprises a cellulose acetate or other cellulose ester, and an anatase-type titanium oxide having (1) a specific surface area of not less than 30 m.sup.2 /g, (2) a primary particle size of 0.001 to 0.07 .mu.m, or (3) a specific surface area of not less than 30 m.sup.2 /g and a primary particle size of 0.001 to 0.07 .mu.m. For improving the photodegradability and the dispersibility, the surface of the titanium oxide may be treated with a phosphoric acid salt or other phosphorus compound, a polyhydric alcohol, an amino acid or others. Use of a low-substituted cellulose ester with an average substitution degree not exceeding 2.15 insures high biodegradability. The composition may further contain a plasticizer and/or an aliphatic polyester, a biodegradation accelerator (e.g. organic acids or esters thereof). The degradable cellulose ester composition is highly photodegradable and moldable and hence useful for the manufacture of various articles.

摘要： An image reproduction system includes a TV set, an AV amplifier connected to the TV set, and a plurality of image output devices, such as a DVD player, a set-top box and a game console, connected to the AV amplifier. The ID information of these image output devices is displayed as a list on the screen of the TV set. The user can select any one of the image output devices from the list by using a remote control, for example. The fact of the selection is transmitted to the AV amplifier from the TV set. Upon this, the AV amplifier connects the selected image output device to the TV set, so that the image signals reproduced by the selected device are sent to the TV set.
