    摘要: In a game system for use in a card game by using a plurality of cards which individually have predetermined ability points, a plurality of competition environments are prepared to change the ability points from one to another at every one of the competition environments. Each of the competition environments is determined by a field card. To this end, the game system has a storage device which stores the ability points varied in dependency upon the competition environments. The ability points of each card is stored as attack and defense ability points different from each other and varied by the competition environments. Any other cards, such as magic cards, trap cards, may be prepared.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a performance position retrieval system that is installed in such things as electronic musical instruments. Its object is to enable rapid and more accurate searching for a position in a musical composition that the performer etc. is currently performing. It is provided with an automatic performance means in which the performance data for the musical composition are stored and an automatic performance is carried out in accordance with that performance data and an input means in which the performer inputs the performance data for the performance and a retrieval table with which a prescribed computation is carried out for a sequence of a specified amount of performance data from the above mentioned performance data for the musical composition, demarcation is done in accordance with the computation results and the position information is stored and a retrieval means in which the above mentioned prescribed computation is carried out for a sequence of the performance data that have been input in the above mentioned input means and the performance position is retrieved based on the above mentioned retrieval table in accordance with the results of the computation.

    摘要: A game system comprises a first storing device storing data for identifying strength and weakness of characters belonging to a player and an opponent; a first display control device for displaying a first game picture which expresses a state of a competitive game in which the player and the opponent compete by using the characters; an outcome determining device for determining an outcome of the competitive game based on the data stored in the first storing device; a second storing device storing data for identifying, with respect to a plurality of areas defined by dividing a predetermined field into a matrix, that each of the areas belongs to a territory of the player or the opponent; a second display control device for displaying a second game picture, on which the field is expressed in such a manner that the territory belonging to the player can be differentiated from the territory belonging to the opponent, based on the data stored in the second storing device; and a data updating device for changing the data in the second storing device so that, when the player won the competitive game, there is a first change relating to the win, in that the territory belonging to the player increases, and in addition, there is a second change relating to the increase of the territory, in that at least one of the areas which is in a predetermined positional relationship with an increased part of the territory by the first change and an acquired part of the territory already belonging to the player is switched to the territory belonging to the player. Therefore, the game system prevents difficulty in determining the outcome of the game, while eliminating monotony thereof.

A polishing liquid is supplied to a polishing liquid passage that is provided in a central portion of the polishing member, and the polishing liquid is supplied to the substrate surface by rotating the polishing member while filtering the polishing liquid by a foam member provided on an outer periphery of the polishing liquid passage. Aperture diameters of the foam member are larger on the side of the polishing liquid passage than on the outside of the polishing member.
